Alpha Carlos POV

I was so mad at Jane for inviting her mother into my palace without informing me.

I knew that she was aware that her mother was coming even though she was lying.

I went to my study room after I welcomed her mother.

"Your Highness, why do you allow Jane's mother into the palace," Philip asked with a frown on his face.

"I never knew that she was coming. Jane just informed me this morning." I replied through gritted teeth as I was still very angry about it.

"Why would she do that without your consent?" He asked with a little bit of anger in his tone.

"Well, she said that she didn't know that she was coming even though I knew that she was lying."

" But, your Highness, I don't think it's right for you to keep Jane here since she's Scarlett's ...."

"Shut up, Philip. Are you trying to question my decision?" I asked, cutting him off with anger.
