Alpha Carlos POV

I was restless because of Scarlett, I can't forget the state she was in when she was being taken to the dark room.

A pang of guilt washed over me. I know that I was angry at her and I wanted to punish her for what she did to me but I can't deny the fact that I still love her deeply, my heart aches whenever I see her going through pain.

"I need to see if she's alright. Yes, I have to go and see her because I won't forgive myself if something bad should happen to her." I mumbled to myself as I left the room to the dark room where she was.

My heart leaped in my chest when I saw the door was slightly open from afar.

" Did something bad happen to her? Did she wake up and run away?" I asked myself in a daze as I hurried my pace towards the room with my guards.

"If she ran away, I'm not going to forgive myself as well as Jane and her mother, I will make them to taste what is more than death," I murmured with anger.
