Jake ran to the servant quarters and hurried straight to Sarah's room. He got there and knocked on her door but no one answered, he tried opening the door but it wouldn't open, he banged harder thinking Sarah didn't want to answer him but still no one opened the door. He called her name several times and decided to break down the door when a maid walked past and halted, seeing her Alpha. "Is something wrong, master?" The maid asked as respectfully as she could.

"Yes, no, I mean, did the accused girl that lived here get executed today?" He asked, worriedly.

"I'm not sure but I heard that she was, it seems she was slit by the throat with a dagger." The maid replied while wondering why Jake was curious to know about the execution.

Jake said nothing, gave the door one more glance and stormed away to Joe's compartment. "Why didn't Joe wake me up when all this was happening?" He thought all his way.
