Zared pov

I feel edgy. Every night the dragon visits me, or more accurate, takes me away. Every night he gets more intens more threatening. Blood soothes me. This night in a reflex I sunk my fangs into Aurum. She gasped, anger evident in her face. Her eyes turning the yellow of her wolf, who growled at me.

I tried to use my fae magic to make her forget what happened. Her wolf retreated but I can see in Aurums face it didn’t work. I then commanded her to not talk about what happened. It can not be known that I am more than a werewolf.

Gunther is pacing in my head. “I’m not convinced the command worked on her….”

“You’ve said that. But there’s nothing we can do now.”

“You fucked up badly,” he growls at me, “This might cost us everything. I’m not sure we can fix this, I for one don’t know how.”

“I think she likes us… that could work in our favour?”

When she walks out I see Janus with Malachite. Malachite looking terrible. He was right she should be rested.
