CLAIRE FISCHER

WE SUN BASKED for almost an hour before Elizabeth stood up and dusted her skirt.

"We have been out here for too long," she said, helping me to get up. "It's not like we are going to be missed." She chuckled dryly. "But we should probably get back."

How was I going to tell her that I might be leaving before dusk?

Maybe I'll go towards the waterfall. I might get lucky and be claimed by another werewolf alpha pack that would see me as more than an object.

I followed her back to the path we had taken while coming here, not paying attention to what she was saying.

As soon as we got back to the pack mansion, Elizabeth went quiet. Her silence drew me attention, she gestured with her head at a corner i turned and saw Joram, standing, eyes fixed on me.

"I will catch up with you later," I said to her as she hurried away and I went up to Joram, keeping my eyes low.

"You seem to be enjoying the place," he said and I nodded. "The senate is n9t pleased at the veto power my brother

ALEKSANDER VON SINCLAIR ALEK SAT IN what used to be his office in the mansion. He was poring over some old papers. They had been his research papers when he was still finding a way to rid himself of this godforsaken curse. He had apprehended every witch and shaman that he could get a hand on, but none had given him anything to go on with. Now, as he looked at the notes, he could feel the deep forlorn feeling creeping into his mind. It was what made him leave the clan before. The door opened and Joram came in. "You have her settled in the kitchen?" Alek asked, pushing the papers away.Joram nodded. He came to see the papers, then he scoffed and asked, "Are you thinking of picking up the search again?"Alek shrugged, "I don't know." He sighed. "I don't think it is fair for the whole race if I let us die off like that."Joram chuckled. "Where did your sense of morality come from?""I've always had it," Alek muttered. "Yeah, you have," Joram snorted with sarcasm. He went to a shelf and

ALEKSANDER VON SINCLAIR ALEK COCKED HIS HEAD. "What did you say?" He asked like he did not hear her the first time. "You heard me, Alek," Lucia snapped. "I said I want you to banish her. Send her away let the rogues get her." Alek chuckled and brushed past Lucia. "You seem to have forgotten your place." He muttered. "Wha-" "You are in no position to tell me what to do," he growled in a deep voice. She jumped slightly, startled at his change of tone. "Alek..." She whined, following him hastily. "You don't know what she did. No werewolf should do that to me..." Ignoring her, Alek walked up the stairs and headed for his office again. "You can't just ignore me," she cried. "I am your fiance." He scoffed, pushing open the door and walking in. Joram was still at the desk looking through the papers. He looked up, "What was that all -" He started to ask, then he saw Lucia come in behind Alek and understanding dawned on him. "Ohh..." He stood up. "I will leave you to your business." H

ALEKSANDER VON SINCLAIRNIGHT CAME QUICKLY and Alek went to his chambers. The scent of the girl still hung in the air faintly. He inhaled deeply and prepared for bed. He had not seen Claire anywhere in the clan since afternoon. Maybe she had gone, not agreeing to his terms.Stifling his disappointment, he went under the sheets and closed his eyes, trying to force himself to sleep. At least, if anything, Lucia would be appeased that the girl was gone. But was he appeased? He asked himself. His beast grunted. It has been getting more vocal and communicative recently. He tossed and turned in bed restlessly for the next few minutes. When he could not take it any further, he started to get out of bed, but his door opened slowly and he saw the dainty foot slip in. He watched Claire come into his room slowly and stand at the door, uncertain of what to do next."You came," he said, his voice raspier than normal. She nodded, gripping her hands tightly. She looked at him wide-eyed. Scared. H

CLAIRE FISCHERI HAD KNOWN what to expect when I snuck into Alex's room, but I had expected to feel pleasure. When he took me into his arms, I felt a strange sense of security. I felt safe from the secret, lies and betrayal that I was forced to suffer these past few weeks. But what I did not expect, was to feel pleasure. When he slipped a finger between my legs, I bit my lips to prevent a moan from escaping. It was a strange but welcoming feeling. I could not keep the moan when his thumb started working on my clit. The constant pressure and motion tilted me over the edge, I felt it coming. An orgasm. My first ever. It felt like an explosion coming from my head and feet at the same time, and meeting at the place where he was touching me, bursting out and making me convulse uncontrollably. So this was how it felt like, I sighed to myself. I rubbed my thighs together, not wanting it to end. He splayed my legs together with his hand, and I felt his cock rub against the entrance of my

ALEKSANDER VON SINCLAIRHE WOKE UP to a numbing, tingling sensation on his arm. He was having one of the most peaceful sleep he had had in a very long time. There was a soft, pliable but unfamiliar flesh by his side.He turned his head and saw her. Claire. How could he have forgotten? Her head was on his upper arm, stopping blood circulation to the rest of his hand. He watched her sleep, feeling a wave of emotions he was not familiar with. After a few more minutes of silent watching. He eased his arm from underneath her head, replacing it with a pillow and then he stood up, stretching and yawning deeply. He turned and looked at her, sprawled across the bed. He wanted nothing more than to lay down beside her and remain there for all eternity, but he had work to do, and he did not want any gossip about them to go around the clan now. Joram was right about one thing, Lucia would rip Claire's head out.He took his bath quickly and washed up before going down for breakfast. His brother w

I was in Alek's room, but I was alone on the bed. He was gone. I ran my hand across where his body had laid. It was still slightly warm and held his scent. I slid over and snuggled into his space, closing my eyes in contentment. After a few more minutes of indulging, I stood up and felt an ache between my legs. It was a pleasurable pain. I sighed."Oh shit," I cursed under my breath. "My kitchen duties." I glanced at the bedside clock, it was already past breakfast time. I rushed to the bathroom and washed up quickly.I peeked out of the room before I slipped out. I didn't want anyone to see me. Not yet. As I hurried downstairs to the kitchen, I untangled my wet hair with my fingers. I entered the kitchen, and just as I had suspected, it was bustling with activities."Where have you been?" Lizzy whispered. She walke

"We have been forced by this setback...""What type of setback?" Joram asked.I looked at my colleague and she gestured with her head. I nodded, placing the ice bucket on the table. I started to take out the bottle of champagne but one of the senators snapped, "Leave it there, fool."I jumped, startled."What were you saying, Jamie?" Alek asked. "The setback you have suffered.""Yes," Jamie nodded. "Marshall was in the middle of a deal he was making.""We have read his notes," Joram cut in. "And we plan to take over from where he stopped.""So you are back for good," The fat man who had snapped at me asked."Yes, Edgar," Alek said in a low voice. "We are back, or would you like us to leave? Is that what you want?" He leaned forward, pinning Edgar with a hard, cold glare. Even harder than the one he had flashed me."Oh no, sir," Edgar said ha

ALEKSANDER VON SINCLAIRHE DID NOT want to be here. From the beginning of the meeting, he got bored from the first minute. The talks about werewolves bored him. There should be nothing that links him with those dogs.He was not listening to a word that the Senate's spokesman was saying. He ignored the accusing looks that they occasionally threw him when they spoke about Marshall, the Golden Boy and best leader for the pack; Alek snorted.Even though they were too afraid to say it, Alek knew that through every point of the meeting, they were blaming him for killing Marshall. But he did not care. The door opened, and suddenly, Alek was interested in his environment again. A servant walked in, closely followed by Claire. Her scent wafted to his nose and filled his senses. But she is from a werewolf bloodline, he growled to himself. He should not react to her like this. He was disgusted with himself. He felt her looking at him, and he fought every ounce of willpower in him not to meet her

LOGAN MILLER HE WAS STUNNED beyond words. As he left Ruth's house, he heard her last sentence ringing in his head. She said she knew things. Was this one of those things? Knowing that he wanted to protect Claire and hide Bastian's body further away. But how had she known? Was it even possible to stay a step ahead of them? These questions flooded Logan's head. He could feel a migraine start as he walked through the woods. Well, the situation could still be salvaged, he muttered to himself. He could just try and avert it. If only he and Bruce and maybe a few other men knew, he could just shrug it off. He got to the strong stream and crossed it without any issues. They had gone out of the territory now. How had the men even found the body? What made them come this far in their search? It could not be that they followed a scent. He shook his head. Every scent was washed away by the current and air updraft of the stream. So what gave them the idea? As he came upon the scene,

BRUCE AND HIS man walked for almost half an hour without seeing anything. Bruce was starting to feel this plan slip through his fingers every minute they walked without finding the spot."That bitch could have been more specific," he snarled under his breath, flopping onto a rock. "We might start to head north now. We will walk at an angle, so we will meet with the others in the middle, then we will search the area together again."The man nodded and sat down. They were close to the stream. Bruce sighed and looked around. He was tired, and could not imagine the energy required to carry the rogue all the way out here, and then bury him, and go back without anyone seeing or noticing anything."Beta...""Yeah?" Bruce looked at his companion who was dipping a foot in the fast flowing stream."You know that if your plan works, Claire would be hurt too," He said.Bruce cocked his head and noted that his companion was the youngest out of the three. "Yes. I am aware of that." He replied."I t

BRUCE HURRIED AWAY from the pack. He crept behind a thick tree and watched as Logan went into Ruth's house. They had agreed to stalk Logan for as long as possible so he would not suspect where Bruce had gone. When Bruce was sure that Logan had gone in and was being occupied by Ruth, he continued his journey farther away into the woods, heading west. After almost half an hour was brisk walking, he came across the Tibet stream. It was a fast-flowing stream that was quite wide. As he looked at it and tested the current, he wondered how the Lycan had carried the body across.Using a stick, he tested how deep the water was, and luckily, it was not deep as it was only a couple of feet deep and would reach up to his knee, but even with the shallowness, the current of the water was able to sweep him off his feet."Beta?" Bruce turned to see 3 men of average build coming towards him. "Luna Ruth sent us, she told us to do as we were told without asking questions."Bruce nodded. "What we are go

BRUCE KNEW THAT something was up, and to his dismay, It seemed like Logan was starting to catch up on everything that was going on behind him. It had come as a terrible surprise when Fiona found out that she was pregnant, and it was very obvious that he was responsible, not Logan.Their plan had been to just manipulate Logan and make him fuck Fiona without condoms or pulling out, so they could easily blame the pregnancy on him. But the plan did not work out perfectly and Logan did not bite. It was like he saw through their plan and refused to sleep with Fiona.Bruce was going to try and convince Fiona to try and abort the baby. It sounded bad, but it would be worse if Fiona suddenly gave birth and the child looked nothing like the alpha. He walked into the pack house. He knew Logan had been on a call with someone. He suspected that it was Claire, and there was something he was keeping secret. He peeked out the window to make sure he was not followed. Then he put the earpiece to his e

LOGAN MILLERLOGAN AND BRUCE walked out. By now, the news that Bastian was missing had gone around the pack. Some people were glad that the rogue responsible for attacks on them months ago was gone, while some were worried. They wondered how the veteran warrior like Bastian could just disappear, and how safe they were. Some of them shared the same views as Bruce and were already suspecting that it was the Lycan clan that visited that was responsible for the abduction."How are his people holding up?" Logan asked."As they should," Bruce answered. "They are worried, some are scared. They have recorded a large amount of deaths in the past few months. Their male population has been reduced to a very few.""Those are not our faults," Logan muttered. He wanted to say it was Ruth's fault for sending them against Claire, and the Lycans. In fact, everything that happened was Ruth's fault.First, she manipulated him into dumping Claire, and then making the whole pack share in her hatred for Cl

LOGAN MILLERLOGAN FINGERED THE card that Claire had given to him. He enjoyed the texture and read the address to himself. He knew the place, it was a secluded expanse of woods uphill. So that was where the Lycan and his clan were residing. The door to his office opened and he turned around to look at Bruce. "Any news?" He asked. They had been looking for Bastian for hours, but it seemed like the rogue just disappeared into thin air. Bruce shook his head and sat down on the couch. "Ruth is going nuts." He said, looking at Logan. "Is there something I should know that I don't?"Logan chuckled and shook his head. He was constantly amazed at how tricky and deceptive Bruce was turning out to be. If he didn't know better, he would think that Bruce was also ignorant of everything. But he knew better. He knew that Bruce knew about the affair between Ruth and Bastian."Earth to Logan..." Bruce snapped his fingers.Logan shook his head. "Sorry. What did you say?""I was only just wondering wh

She looked at Alek briefly before looking at me and saying, "I have not had breakfast. Can I join the table?"I paused chewing, wondering if I had heard properly. I felt Alek stiffen beside me too. Lucia raised an eyebrow at me and I heard Alek's voice float into my head, telling me that it was my decision to make. What could go wrong? I asked myself. "Of course, Lucia," I said. "You can join us for breakfast."I could feel Aleks's disagreement. But he had said it was my decision, and I made it."Are you sure that is a good idea?" He asked me.I did not take my eyes away from her as Lucia came towards the table and took a seat close beside Alek. The nerve of the woman, I gritted inwardly while I kept my face emotionless."Thank you, Luna Claire," she said and I did not miss the mocking sarcasm laced in her words. ALEKSANDER VON SINCLAIRHE WAS AT peace as he washed and dried his face. He took a wet napkin and went to Claire. He wiped her black where a dried streak of blood had come from where he bit her."Did you mark me?" She asked, chuckling."I think so," he replied. He opened a bandaid and covered the place."I thought you didn't believe in any of those things," she said. He chuffed. "I didn't believe in many things before I met you. Love, for one." He said, pressing a kiss to her head."You made me believe in love." He walked away to dispose of the napkin before she could respond. She softly touched the bandaid on her neck with her finger. "Why do you treat it like an injury?" She asked."Because that is what it is," he muttered, shrugging on a shirt. "And I do not want it to get infected."She laughed and ripped the bandaid off, making it bleed again. "I am not that fragile." She said. I smiled, feeling the deep purring from him as my fingers explored the unfamiliar crevices in his body.He turned and looked at me. "Are you still pissed at me?" He asked.I chuffed and shook my head. "I am not happy with what you did, but I understand why you did it.""You do?" He asked, propping himself up on an elbow.I nodded. He did it to revenge for the danger I was put in. He did it to protect me. Just as Ryana had said, I wouldn't feel totally safe knowing that Bastian was still out there and able to hurt me again anytime. "I understand," I said, pulling him down for a kiss.He pushed into me, deepening the kiss. I could feel his heart, beating in rhythm with mine as we lay chest to chest. The length of his huge body was pressed against me. His hard cock was pressed against my thighs."Well, you respected my wishes and didn't harm my mother," I
