Chapter 13

The next day, I asked Lily to have lunch with me. I can't eat well in dining alone, it feels boring and empty. For the past few days at home, I ate only a few and sometimes asked our housemaids to eat with me at the table. With much presence around me while eating is better. 

"Amber!" Lily greeted as soon as she arrived here in the cafeteria. She planted a kiss on my cheek before putting down her books and bag on the table. 

"I missed you, Lily!" I exclaimed, grabbing her hand to sit beside me. 

She groaned a little when her waist bumped on the table. I smiled sheepishly and gave her a peace sign. She rolled her eyes then hugged me tight. 

"It's been a year or a decade since we last met," we laughed when she said those words in sarcasm. 

She pulled herself away from me. "Do you have colds?" she asked, scanning me up and down before touching my forehead. Y
