I couldn’t sleep.

Violent thoughts whirled around my head like a tornado. I wanted to hunt down and kill Claw, but that was a dumb idea. It had to be done right. There was no way I could wage a personal war without dragging the entire club into it. Gia was mine, and that was the second half of the problem. One thing was stopping me from telling her that. I didn’t want to influence her choices. If she felt any spark of attraction toward me, it had to be as nature intended. Not because I turned all “caveman” on her ass and dragged her to bed by her hair. That wasn’t me. I wasn’t Claw.

Gia didn’t deserve a moron like him, or a monster like me. She deserved so much better.
