Kayla's POV

It's so hard living in the same house with Jackson and having to see him every day in this house. I can't believe he still thinks I am going to accept him in my life after what he did to me.

I couldn't stop pacing around the room. I was so upset with him; his confidence was more annoying because why is he even here in the first place when he knows exactly what he did to his brother in the past? His guts are really alarming.

I couldn't help but stay mad at him because of how he's been moving around the house. While I was mad at him and pacing around the room, I heard a knock on the door. I didn't think twice about opening the door because I was sure it'd be Callan, but I was shocked to see who it was when I opened the door, and the expression of regret flushed through my face as I was staring at him dead in the eyes.
