Veronica’s Proposal

/Selene’s POV/

Immediately I stepped out of the pack house, I brought out my phone and my earpiece and plugged my ears. I begin the journey to school and I could feel it in my gut that something would happen today, but I can place a name to it. As usual, I could feel the serenity running through my veins while I was walking to school, I could my feel soul being connected with the music and earth in general.

I was careful this time not to step on a thorn like I did the other day, I heard a rustling sound around me and I removed one earpiece so I could focus on my surroundings, I thought I was hallucinating but as I was about to plug my earpiece back I heard the same noise and I looked frantically around, I exhaled loud when I caught the culprit……a fucking lizard.

“Should I skip school today?? I don’t feel like going in there today.” I complained and I guess I’m the only one in the conversation because Athena was as silent as a dead person.

I got to school and I passed through the corridors and it was as quiet as a graveyard, I knew that something was wrong because the moment I made myself noticeable to everyone all hell broke loose, chatters could be heard from every dimension of the hallway, hundreds of eyes soured as they narrowed down into sharp thin daggers making me wonder what I did or who I killed?.

“Yeah that’s her, the whoring thief?” I heard someone whisper and I turned back to see if there’s anyone behind my back, because I can’t be the one who deserves such an undeserving name.

“What the hell are y’all looking out??? Got something to talk about ?? Spill it out and quit being the cowards that you are.” I screamed and everyone was startled, even I myself was startled….after the scream, you could hear a pin drop.

“Oh, the audacity…….. wow you’ve gotten bolder, you don’t cower anymore in our presence… it seems we need to put you back in your place, you this petty thief.” One of the three mistletoes( Lydia, Charlotte, Bianca)spat and I looked in their direction.

“Oh, you’re the culprit?? Good to know you’re a bit coward-less, now what the fuck did I do??” I questioned while taking bold steps in her direction and at this point, everybody had gathered around us with their phone filming and I’m sure as hell that I would give them proper content today.

“Lydia, Charlotte, can you see that this omega has grown iron balls, you have the effrontery to talk to us after stealing my money?” Bianca screeched and I scrunched my eyebrows while clenching my fist trying to reign my anger in.

“Steal your money??? Are you insane? And how did I get access to your money?” I inquired and I have a feeling that I’ve been set up by these three idiots.

“You want to deny it now?? Did you think I will not come across it in your locker where you hid it??” She smirked and I resisted the urge to pounce at her because I can’t guarantee her safety if I get a hold of her.

“Oh poor mistletoe, I’ve forgotten the kind of manipulative bitch you are and I will do well to remind the whole student of Jade high school, you three are worthless individuals who tramp on people to exude their self-worth.” I proclaimed and rested my hands on my hips to show that I’m the one in control, and furious is an understatement of what the three mistletoes are right now, I could see their face reddening up as a result of the anger flowing through their veins.

“I’ll show you what self-worth is, self-worth is me beating the hell out of you to prove I’m worth more than you do.” She was clouded with anger to the extent that she failed to realize that she just justified my observation.

“Beat me?? Come at me!! I’m tired of being tramped on, I don’t care if you tell the Alpha…..I’ll show you not to mess with me today, omega or not.” I snapped and the surprises on the pack member’s faces were crazy because I’m talking to one of the best female warriors in the pack.

“You think an omega like you can beat me in a fight? A top female warrior? You haven’t even gone through any training but I’ll consider this your first training because I’ll put you in the trash where you belong.” She finalized then swung her fist at me, I was too slow for her movement because the next thing that resounded in the room was a crack….. the bitch had broken my jaw.

The next thing I saw was red and I pounced on her, I wouldn’t allow any lowlife to step on me and she would be the example, I was so clouded with anger that I was just hitting her face, seeing flashbacks of all she had done to me, how she had humiliated me in the past, everything she had come back with full force and all I could hear were the screams from the pack members after I was pulled off her by a furious principal….. I could feel the steam coming out of his ears and nose but I was less concerned about that.

“I’m ashamed of y’all, instead of you to separate them y’all are cheering on for the winner…..now get back to all your classrooms.” He dismissed everyone.

“Lydia and Charlotte, you both could have pulled the crazy bitch off me.” Bianca cried out and I had a satisfactory grin on my face when I look at the work of art I performed on her face.

“We thought you had it covered, you’re one of the best female warriors of the pack…we didn’t know an omega like her could bring you down.” They answered defensively.

“The four of you should meet me in my office now.” The principal thundered and we followed him.

We got to his office and he started his speech blah blah blah talking about how disappointed he is, he asked for explanations and mistletoes started and I just tune them out…..I was brought out of my zone when I heard my name being called.

“Selene, I’m disappointed in you, I did not know you could stoop this low… Stealing???” He drawled and I didn’t bother correcting him, knowing he would never believe me so I decided to save my saliva.

He dismissed us after giving us detentions and the mistletoes were not too happy with me but they didn’t cross their boundaries, but I know they would get back to me soon and I’m well prepared for whatever they want to bring. I decide to just go home since I’ve given them enough show for the day, I do not want any form of piercing gaze on me right now. The journey to the pack house was so short because all I wanted to do is get to my room and sleep.

I opened the door to the pack house and I was greeted by Veronica’s annoying face making me groan, I don’t want to deal with her right now and seems she noticed because the didn’t make any smart comments.

“I don’t want to ask you what happened, but just go and pack up the dishes in Alpha’s library and I’d let you rest till the other members come back.” She proposed and I had to accept her offer, I just hope that mother fuvking bastard of a mate will not see me.

“Using her as a sex slave is not enough,” Atlas complained and his voice made me halt my movement because I knew it in my gut that I am the one he is referring to, and the only person that knows that we are mates is his best friend.

“But Atlas, you’ve rejected her and you’re basically coveting her beauty while using her as your sex slave, what more could you want?”

Luke asks him.

“Using her to breed omegas.” My dear mate answered
