Flowers

A big bouquet of flowers appeared in front of us. My jaw almost dropped when I saw it. Suddenly my heart beat faster when I saw my husband in front of me. I couldn't stop smiling while observing his very handsome face.

"Wow!" my mother said with a smile, obviously amazed at what she saw.

"Good morning, Aunt" Ransom said with a smile.

"Good morning, my love," he added.

She came up to me with a smile and gave me the second bouquet of flowers. I didn't even notice that the big bouquet of flowers was like a funeral flower and my mother noticed it.

"Wait, didn't you notice that one flower looks like a funeral, daughter?!" Mother asked emphatically.

I thought about it and tried to smile. Even though the truth is, I'm really annoyed with this man. It's obvious that he wants me to die. I thought he really made an effort, but what else should I expect from him?
