"How's your head?"

"You've asked me before."

"I want to know now."

I was silent while striding my feet toward the kitchen. Lunch was still an hour ahead, but I was already hungry.

I should have gone to the bakery if Eliot didn't show up. So the only choice was to find something in the kitchen.

"Do I look in pain?" I questioned him back. He could have seen that. I did activities normally, so the answer should be obvious, right?

"No. But maybe you hide it."

"I'm not hiding anything."

"Are you? Why do I feel otherwise? You look like you are hiding something from me."

It was true, but I wasn't ready yet to tell him.

The smell of dishes omega was cooking hit me the moment I stepped into the kitchen. It made my stomach growl loudly and embarrassed me!

"Sorry. Your food smelled so good." I flashed an embarrassed smile when the growl drew their attention to me.

Tania, who was in charge of our meal, chuckled. "Can you wait? It'll be ready soon."
