It was half past eight now in the evening now. I checked Ava in her room and she was still sleeping soundly after eating dinner.

I had informed my Dad that I wouldn't be able to come back home today. I was surprised when he told me Xander came to his office and even more surprised when he told me that my mom didn't want to leave for Japan anymore. She said she was brave enough to handle the taunts and mockeries from the public.

After answering a lot of calls and making a lot of business calls, I wanted to retire to bed when the thought of Ellie brushed through my mind.
