"Julian... Ugh, stop it! Don't bite me!" Cassie slapped Julian as he bit her lip. "Keep going like this, I will love you," Julian said. "I regret ever knowing you! I want to leave! Please..." Cassie only wanted to be released from Julian's grip. "Impossible! You are my woman. The mistress I love." Julian continued to move his hips. Cassie was, of course, forced to make love until the man was satisfied, even though he had a legal wife. Every day, she was forced to be Julian's plaything because his legal wife was an honourable woman who would never submit to a man, let alone indulge Julian's specific desires in bed. Only Cassie was the woman who would submit to him. That night turned into morning. As usual, Julian was not beside Cassie. She decided that the suffering she endured was enough. She stared into the mirror in the bedroom; her face was pale, her eyes empty. Her body was thin, and there were whip marks because Julian had forced her to make love only after whipping her the night before. "I have to get out of here. I cannot stay forever with a crazy man like him. I love him, but he treats me so cruelly." The next day, that chance came sooner than expected. Julian's legal wife, Elena, arrived, wearing a white coat. Her face was still elegantly beautiful even without make-up, but it looked cold. The woman approached Cassie, who was about to escape through the window. Cassie panicked upon being discovered by Elena. "Why are you in my room? I just want to run away from your man. Let me go! Miss Elena, I cannot bear to be here any longer." "I know Julian keeps you locked up here. I know you are my husband's secret lover," Elena replied. "Have you come to kill me? Have you come to ensure I can't escape? Are you going to tell Julian?" Cassie asked, terrified. "No. I came... to end this. I want you to leave Julian's life. But I cannot kill you myself." Elena placed a car key on the small table beside the bed, then spoke: "Go. There is a car in the back garage. There will be no guards there for the next two hours. I ordered them to leave, and I shut down the CCTV in this mansion." "Why are you helping me?" Cassie was hesitant to accept Elena's kindness. "I only have a shred of conscience; I don't want you to die at that man's hands. This is more dangerous than you think," Elena replied, merely pretending. At that moment, a video recording played right in front of Cassie. Julian was seen talking to someone wearing a mask. > [Kill Cassie! Don't let her live. If she lives, then my reputation will be ruined. Elena's parents already know about my relationship with Cassie; they won't let me live in peace. I don't want to lose Elena and my good name. If my relationship with her, even my confining her and turning her into my doll of lust, becomes known to many people, then the good image I have built will be destroyed.] "Did you hear that? It is Julian who wants to kill you, not me," Elena said. "What? He is so heartless; he made me his slave, sleeping with me day and night. And then, for his good name, I am to be killed. Thank you. If you help me tonight, I will repay you someday." Cassie couldn't wallow in sadness over the fact that Julian wanted to kill her. She had no more time. She grabbed the key, ran out of the mansion, and got into the car. She quickly drove away from the place before Julian returned. 'You stupid woman! Actually, this is just my plan, so that you and Julian will hate each other. You don't know this video is fake. Julian, don't blame me if I'm cruel because you were the one who started having a mistress behind my back.' Elena was the one who planned all this. Cassie drove the white car as fast as she could, speeding along the winding road out of town. The night wind slammed into her face, her hair was a mess, but her chest felt light—for the first time in years, she felt free. "Goodbye, Julian. I will never see you again. I will not die by your hands," she muttered between the roaring engine. "You will not hurt me anymore." But suddenly— Scrreeech! The steering wheel felt strange. The car shook violently. Cassie turned the wheel, but the brakes did not respond. "No... no! What is happening? What's wrong with this car?" The engine shrieked, a tyre exploded, and the car slid wildly towards the roadside barrier. In a matter of seconds, the car smashed through the barrier and plunged into the ravine. Cassie screamed—the headlights spun, the world flipped upside down, and then a huge explosion sounded. Boom! Flames licked the night sky. In the distance, police car sirens wailed. The next morning, the news spread quickly: Actress Cassandra Vance has died in a tragic accident. Photos of her face filled television screens, accompanied by sweet, fabricated statements from Julian Sterling in front of the media: "Cassandra was a talented and kind woman. The world has lost a great star today. Although she had a scandal, she remained a gifted actress at my company." All her fans wept. Despite being involved in a scandal, she remained a major star whose talent was undeniable, having won many awards over the past five years. In a distant place, at the bottom of the ravine, amidst burning metal and lingering smoke, something moved. A man wearing a black coat emerged from the shadows. His face was concealed beneath a hat; his eyes sharply focused on the half-burnt body—still weakly breathing. The man lifted Cassie into his arms. "Calm down... you are not dead yet. I will save you." The man immediately took Cassie to a nearby hospital. Her beautiful, angelic face was now severely scarred and covered in burns. The next morning, Cassie woke up. She looked around and saw a man watching over her. Her voice was hoarse, and her entire body was in agonising pain from the car crash. "Are you awake?" the man asked. "Who are you?" Cassie managed to whisper. "I am the one who saved you from that car accident," the handsome man replied. At the same time, the television facing Cassie was broadcasting news that she was reported dead. Even Julian was clarifying to the media that his beloved actress had indeed died in the accident. > 'I hate you! You planned to kill me. Because of you, I suffered. I know this was all your plan, to destroy me. From the betrayal, the scandal, the doll for your lust, and even my death—it was all planned!' > Cassie stared at the television screen, crying. "Don't worry, I will help you. When you crashed, several people immediately rushed to your exploding car. I am certain this was a planned murder," the man said. "It turns out that man truly was behind this. Someday, I will make you regret this, Julian. You made me into this."Save Julian"Mr. Julian! Hold on!" Marcus tried to help his Master.Julian’s consciousness faded as a hard blow landed on his skull, leaving a trail of heat that then turned into total darkness. His body slumped, but before his head hit the cold and wet floor, a pair of strong hands caught him.It was the voice of Liam, the head of Julian’s personal security, who had led a tactical team through the back route after managing to track the emergency signal emitted by Julian’s watch. Their presence seemed to be the answer to the desperate prayers of Jennifer, who was still trapped inside the bunker that was slowly becoming an underwater tomb."Julian... please wake up! Don't sleep! I hope you're okay," Jennifer shouted.Inside the bunker, the water had reached Jennifer's chin. She was panting, inhaling the remaining oxygen squeezed between the water's surface and the concrete ceiling. Her hands were still gripping the back of her father’s wheelchair, which was stuck on the door rail. The
Choice on the Brink of Death"Jennifer, do not let your emotions get the better of you; have you forgotten who we are here to save? Do not entertain that man's words," Julian said."Aurora... where is she? Julian, I was careless because I was too focused on finding Marcus." The woman looked around her, for she had to find her daughter."Where is my daughter? Answer me now! If you do not answer, I will ensure that you and everyone involved meet their end," Julian threatened, consumed by rage."She is already on the ship with Mr Rose," Marcel interjected, rubbing his shoulder which was still bleeding. "Mr Rose has no use for a Marcus who only cares for his conscience. You are too late, Julian, to threaten me, as your daughter has already been taken by them.""Julian, we must get out of here to save our daughter," Jennifer shouted."I know that; we must finish off Marcel and the rest of them," Julian replied.Marcel then stepped towards the iron bunker door, which began to vibrate under
Where is the Real Marcus?"Who... who are you, really?" Jennifer’s voice trembled, yet her hand moved slowly towards the pistol at her waist. The figure beside Julian chuckled softly. His voice was strikingly similar to Marcus’s, but the usually firm and protective tone had been replaced by something sinister and cunning. He released his grip on Julian’s shoulder, causing Julian—who was still in agony—to slump to the ground. This man had previously been bracing the pained Julian."My name is Marcel," he whispered with a terrifying calmness that contrasted sharply with the warehouse explosion behind them. "The real Marcus is my brother. Regrettably, he was far too loyal to you lot, whereas I prefer my Boss. My Boss is Mr Rose."Julian’s eyes widened. He tried to stand, but his injured leg caused him to collapse once more. "Marcus has a twin? Why did he never say? And... where is Marcus?""Because as far as Marcus was concerned, I died ten years ago in the orphanage fire," Marcel interr
Which One is the Real Marcus? "You won't be able to escape, my beloved father—you’re just running away. Are you stupid? You’re nothing but a woman cast aside by her own father," Jennifer sneered. Jennifer dodged, but the blade still managed to slice her arm. Without hesitation, Jennifer kicked Elena in the stomach, sending her sprawling. Jennifer aimed her pistol at Elena’s leg and fired. Bang! Elena collapsed, groaning in agony. "This was my plan, Cassandra—you’re still such a fool," she laughed, ignoring the wound. She, who once cared so deeply for her appearance, now showed no fear of the blood staining her. "Never call me by that name again. I will make you suffer," Jennifer hissed. She moved to pull Aurora away, but she spotted Mr. Rose pointing a gun at Julian, who was trapped in another corner. Marcus was busy engaging three men at once. "Julian! Are you alright?" Jennifer shouted. Mr. Rose reappeared, holding something in his hand. He smiled cunningly. "If I lose today
Between Bullets and Tears "Let her go, Elena," Jennifer hissed. Her voice was low, carrying a threat sharper than a blade. "Your quarrel is with me, not with a small child. If you want to kill someone, kill me—do not touch my daughter." Elena let out a shrill laugh, relishing the chance for vengeance. Her hair was dishevelled, and the wild look in her eyes betrayed the fact that she had lost all grip on sanity. "Our quarrel? Oh, Jennifer, our quarrel ended the moment you stole everything that should have been mine! Julian, the wealth, my self-respect, even my father. You destroyed everything!" Mr. Rose stood beside Elena, his face calm yet alert. He was aware that twenty-five of Julian’s men had surrounded every corner of the warehouse. Yet, he was a master manipulator. He knew his trump card lay in Elena’s hands. "Lower your weapon, Jennifer," Mr. Rose commanded in a cold tone. "One wrong move from your men, and your daughter’s brains will be scattered across this floor. Is that
I Shall Kill Your Daughter"You absolute bastard! Where is my daughter? Give her back!" Cassandra screamed again."Your daughter is safe... but there is something you both must do. If you want your daughter to survive," the man replied.Naturally, that man was Mr Rose, standing in the doorway, pointing a pistol at Julian, who was still struggling to get up in the corner of the room. Marcus lay sprawled on the floor near the door, seemingly incapacitated by Mr Rose's henchmen.Jennifer froze. She was still pinning Elena down, her hands locked around the woman's neck."Release my daughter, and perhaps I shall kill Julian quickly, without pain," Mr Rose said calmly, as though discussing the weather.Jennifer looked at Julian. Julian looked back at her with a gaze that said: Do not give up."You know, Mr Rose. I am Jennifer now, no longer Cassandra," Jennifer spoke with a remarkably calm voice, even though her heart was thumping. "You made a grave mistake coming here yourself. You think I
Welcome to My Game"My daughter, the game is about to begin. I shall ensure those two suffer," said Mr Rose, who had only just arrived."Of course, Father. Avenge my grudge and your own." Elena smiled wickedly.A few moments after that conversation, they arrived at the hospital. The atmosphere of t
How Can You Still Be Alive?"Who are you? Let me go!" Jennifer said again. At that moment, the man removed his mask; Jennifer was struck with utter shock the moment she saw him."How are you, Cassandra Vance? Have you forgotten that it was you who framed me?" The man immediately slapped Jennifer’s
Julian Save MeRicard pulled the woman’s body to stand before him as a human shield. He forcibly wrenched the black dagger from the back of his own hand—a gruesome, masochistic act—and pressed the blood-stained blade against Jennifer’s carotid artery."Back off, Julian! One more step and I’ll slit
Elena Returns "I hope you survive, Julian. I will forgive you if you wake up. At the very least, you must wake up for our daughter's sake, so she has her biological father." Jennifer was consumed by grief; she hoped the man who had once caused her so much pain would soon rouse from his deep, injur
