Once again, Mia woke up with her body aching and her entire body attached to hospital monitoring devices. Her health was so severely affected that she couldn’t move, even the slightest movement would cause her body to ache so much that it felt like it was about to explode. Her tired eyes looked towards Andy, her pitiful childish voice rang out.

“Andy! Why do we have to doubt each other to this extent? Can’t you give me time to prove my innocence?”

"Mia! Wait until your health recovers, then we will go through the divorce procedure. According to the prenuptial agreement, the adulterer will not receive any property after marriage. However, I will still allow you to receive a car and a house in the suburbs. This is the last kindness I can give you."

After he finished speaking, he quickly left, the small hospital room became even colder than when Andy was here, and Andy’s last words were like a spark that lit a bomb in Mia’s mind. She could no longer control her emotions, she burst into tears like a child, her sobs and screams echoed in the room. She cried so much that she was exhausted and passed out on the bed, the nurses had to come in and take care of Mia immediately.

Luna was afraid that Mia would not agree to the divorce or would do something stupid in the hope of threatening Andy not to sign the divorce agreement, so she hired a lot of bodyguards to control Mia.

The process of signing the divorce agreement was the longest period of time in Mia's life, because, after completing the divorce proceedings, Mia officially ended her nearly ten-year love affair with Andy. They had been in love for 5 years and married for 3 years. This was the longest and most beautiful period of time for a woman. Mia tried to hold back her tears, she didn't want to burst into tears here. At least she wanted to keep the last bit of dignity for herself.

When Mia finished signing the agreement. Luna quickly grabbed the paper to check if Mia was playing a trick. When she saw that the agreement stated that Andy would give Mia a car and a house in the suburbs, she quickly looked at Andy with an angry gaze and said. 

“Are you crazy? Why did you give this bitch a house and a car? Didn’t you guys sign a marriage contract that adulterers would have all their assets taken away? I don’t agree, Andy! You have to take it all back.”

Luna was a greedy and cruel woman, she didn’t like Mia since the first time they met, so she didn’t want Mia to have any benefits before leaving, even if it was a torn shirt, she would throw it away instead of giving it to Mia. Mia had been by Andy’s side for 8 years, Luna had also mentally tortured Mia for 8 years.

Mia heard Luna’s hateful words, she quickly spoke up to protest, her sour voice filled with resentment rang out, she said.

“I bought this car with my own money. The house in the suburbs is more than half mine, so why can’t I take back what belongs to me? You were not faithful to your husband.”

She wanted to destroy Mia’s entire being, from mind to body, she wanted to crush everything.

The argument was getting tense to the extreme when Andy’s voice interrupted. He sat there listening intently to the two women arguing, until things were almost beyond repair, and then he stepped in to mediate. Andy looked like a hero, but in reality, his human nature was more terrifying than a bug. He said.

“It ends here! I don’t want to be ridiculed by others for being harsh to my ex-wife. A house and a car, plus half of my savings will be sent to your account. Mia! I still have some matters to discuss with Luna, it’s best if you don’t stay here. Go home!”
