My first appointment went well. I was able to confirm my pregnancy and have an ultrasound done. We could only view the sac. There really isn’t much you can see when you’re five weeks along. According to the doctor, I’m still underweight, but she said as long as I eat regularly, I should be fine.

I also started the registration process for my pregnancy. Every female has to register their pregnancy in case they end up having a male. You get special tokens that allow you to buy items needed if your doctor confirms you’re having a boy. That won’t be for a while longer, but it’s something to look forward to.

“Is your husband, boyfriend, or father with you?”

“No.” I hate being asked if I’m with someone.

“You can’t be in here without a male escort.” The hostess said while pointing to the small sign, that was not even in the window.

“It’s just food.”

“I’m sorry, it’s the rules of the restaurant.”
