Chapter 32: Conflict after contradiction (1)

Bernie's POV

"If you're sleepy, just let me go shopping with mom." I helped Dylan wash the towels, then looked out of the bedroom. Dylan was still reclined in his bed. If it weren't for his eyes on me, I would have thought he was dozing. "If you wake up later, come over to my house. My mother misses you so much!"

Dylan froze for a moment, then replied, "I'm fine! I promised my mother yesterday that she would be angry if I didn't come with her this morning!"

I reluctantly watched Dylan enter the bathroom. He took the towel from my hand. "Don't worry! I had enough sleep last night. I feel a little sluggish.”

After saying that, Dylan smiled and kissed me on the cheek: "We haven't gone for a walk in a long time. Let's take this opportunity to take a look around the neighborhood!"

"I will listen to you." I smiled back at his kiss, "Oh yeah, dad said, it looks like there's going to be a big storm in the next few days."

"Is that so?" Dylan frowned slightly, "Then I'll ask Mom to go home
