Hunt for blood

The night was young. I watched the stars twinkle in the glimmer. Back at home, where I lived with grandma, I used to stay up late until I was satisfied with watching them.

But in this werewolf world there were not so many stars nor sunlight because you could only see the forest. It was on certain occasions that one got to bathe in the warm sun.

I tried as much as possible to keep my mind off from what was happening in the King's room. He was glowing, not the usual glow, but the one in which crystals appeared in his face.

I was frustrated because I couldn't comprehend what was happening with him. I jerked back to my thoughts when I heard the growl of someone, as if in pain.

Maybe it was the king, hence I stood up abruptly preparing to go out when the lights suddenly went off.

I checked if Paula was still sleeping, so I tiptoed out of the room. I heard some shouting.

"Tie him!!" That voice, it sounded so much like uncle Phil's. With light steps, I made my way to where the sounds came
