They arrived at Bryce's company and Hera suddenly decided to wait for Mariam in the car. Somehow she doesn't feel the need to see him let alone talk to him. She was still convinced that he was still angry and didn't want to talk to her.

"Are you coming?" Mariam had asked the minute they arrived but she shook her head slowly.

"I'll just wait right here for you Mariam." She answered "I don't think it makes a difference if any of us goes up to give him the file."

Liar! Of course it does. She wanted to see him with the excuse of giving him the file but deep down In the pits of her stomach, she felt unsure and a little bit frightened to do so.

"Of course it does. Come on. I won't let you sit here all by yourself!" Mariam reached for her hands and slowly pulled her out of the car.

They made their way past security and into the building. When they arrived, they were greeted by his secretary who was typing away on her laptop to give a single care in the world.
