Kira's POV.

"Open the damn door or I'll break it down!" Ashton threatened as he banged at my door and I let out a loud sigh.

"I've told you Ashton, I don't want to talk to you, for goodness sake, I'm busy, go away, do something... Anything but being with me." I shouted, trying hard to keep my temper in check but he was making it so difficult, I don't want to talk to him but he won't have that.

"I know you're mad at me for allowing myself to get taken like that but look on the brighter side mate, we're together, allowing me close to you, what are you so afraid of? Scared of loving me?"

I rolled my eyes so hard it hurt. “Scared of loving you? Ashton, don’t flatter yourself. I’m not mad, I’m just busy, and frankly, you’re getting on my nerves.”

The banging stopped momentarily, and for a second, I thought he’d finally listened and left. But then his voice came again, quieter but no less persistent. “You’re lying, Kira. You’re always pushing me away, but it’s not because you’re busy. You

Kira's POV. "Happy birthday my darlings." I mumbled, hugging the picture of my children tightly. My heart was heavy because with their growth in years, so do their powers, the blood moon is just few months away and I can't even touch the Triplet, I've tried all I could to get them but I failed miserably and the last time they kidnapped me shows just how weak I am. I don't know what to do... I feel so lost and... I don't like this. "You can ask Ashton for help, he's hiding his powers but if he joined forces with you, you'll have a chance against those monsters." Mo suggested and I just sighed, trying to think of other ways. "I don't want to involve him in such a deadly game, he might get hurt, I just need one weakness on their part and I'll work on it, let's hope the private investigator bring something useful this time around." I mumbled, checking the clock on my office desk, "he should be here any minute." "He won't get anything, it’s going to be the same old disappointment, Kir

Kira’s POV I paced my vast room, my whole body tensed as I waited for some news. I need good news, I've heard enough of bad news. "Good news," Jonas said, striding into the room, a triumphant gleam in his eye. "The spies you and Lord Ashton planted are working. We’ve intercepted some intel...seems the triplets are arguing among themselves. Your plan is destabilizing them.” My breath caught for a moment. “The spies…” I murmured, recalling Ashton’s insistence on planting two weeks ago. I hadn’t believed it would work. “What are they arguing about?” Jonas hesitated. “We’re still gathering details, but it’s clear they don’t fully trust each other anymore. The cracks are forming.” A flicker of hope ignited in my chest. I nodded, dismissing Jonas with a wave of my hand, and he left me to my thoughts. "You see, together with Ashton, you achieved something you haven't been able to achieve, only if you'll trust him fully." Mo said and I just shrugged and dropped on my bed. She's right an

Author's POV. "That bitch! She's ruining everything, if those stupid rumors she's spreading keeps up, we'll lose a lot of allies, they think we'll betray them because we sold off our Luna, dammit!" Nicholas snarled angrily, flinging the tablet which shattered everywhere. "Calm your horses, they're just rumors, I don't know what Kira hopes to achieve with it but in the next few months, we won't be needing allies, we'll be immortals, we'll be like gods and everyone would bow to us, so I see no reason you should worry about mere rumors." Christopher, the ever calm one stated, his gaze firmly on the women magazine he was reading. He knew already that Kira wouldn't be able to do anything to them, her rumors about how they betray her, sold her off and some deep dirty deeds they've done in the past have surfed the internet and she wasn't stopping, he was mad and so were his brothers but there was nothing any of them can do, Kira can't be killed, they've tried many times and failed so they

Nicholas’s POVThe heavy scent of incense filled the air as I stepped into the lavish apartment. The walls were adorned with ancient tapestries depicting wolves, battles, and celestial bodies. The Shermans had made themselves at home, their presence a mix of eerie calm and unshakable authority. The elder Sherman, a gaunt man with silver hair and eyes like molten gold, sat cross-legged on an intricately woven rug. Beside him was his sister, a woman shrouded in black, her pale hands resting on a massive tome that radiated an unsettling energy.“Alpha Nicholas,” the elder greeted, his voice a deep rumble that seemed to vibrate through my chest. “You’ve come seeking answers, and perhaps...salvation?”I hesitated, my jaw tightening. “Kira. She’s growing stronger. Every attempt we’ve made to weaken her has failed. I need to know how to stop her.”The sister smiled faintly, her voice a melodic whisper. “Kira, your ex mate is not just strong, she is becoming...unstoppable. With each passing d

Nicholas's POV. "Daddy, are we really going to see mommy?" Trisha asked, her eyes filled with tears and I nodded with a forced smile. I don't have time for delay but the kids have become so slow, so sickly ever since we auctioned their mother off, all they wanted was their mommy. "Hurry up, William, where's Melvin?" I asked and he just shrugged, giving me a cold calculated look. I know he hates us but I don't care about the kids hate, once they serve their purpose, they're as good as gone. Not only was their constant sickness annoying, they're growing more powerful everyday though we don't allow them to know they're powerful. It will be disastrous if they do, if the three kids combine their powers, they'll be able to defeat us and go to their mommy but... Well, they don't know the kind of creature they are so we're safe. "Melvin, get your butt out of the game room right now, we don't have all night, we'll get the gift for your mommy once we're on our way." I tried to maintai

Kira's POV. "We were so close Ashton, so close!" I cried and dropped on the bed, my body quivering in anger, fear and the thought of failure cut deep into me. I wish things had been different."Calm down baby, you're eating yourself too deep, my love." Ashton tried to calm me down but I pushed him angrily away. I don't want his comfort, I want my children and I'd have gotten them had Nicolas not been discovered by his brothers, everything seemed to be falling apart! "Can you stop being a mean bitch for once?" He lashed out but I just ignored him."You are secretive, you never told me the reason you are going after the triplets was because of your kids until moments ago, what will happen to you if you let me into your life?" He asked and I could feel the anger in his voice but I chose to ignore it."Fucking tell me!"Ashton’s words sliced through the air, heavy with frustration and unspoken pain. I clenched my fists, my nails digging into my palms as I fought back the wave of emotion

Author's POV. Kira moaned softly as Ashton's skilled tongue traced patterns on her sensitive nipples, sending shivers down her spine. Her hands ran through his thick, dark hair, encouraging him to continue his sensual assault. "Oh, Ashton... you always know how to drive me wild," she whispered, her voice laced with pleasure. Ashton gaze at her intensely, smirking against her skin, his breath hot on her neck. He loved the taste of her, the feel of her soft moans vibrating against his lips."You're mine, Kira," he growled, his voice deep and possessive. "Body and soul, you belong to me."Kira, however, had a defiant streak. She pulled away slightly, her blue eyes sparkling with mischief. "Do I now? I might just be borrowing your body for my pleasure, mate." Her words were playful, but there was an underlying challenge in her tone.Ashton's smirk turned into a determined expression. He positioned himself between her slender thighs, his thick erection pressing against her wet entrance. "

  • The Betrayed Luna Strikes Back!   Chapter 106: The Seed Of Doubt.

The tension in the grand mansion of the alpha triplets was so thick that even everyone could feel it. The air heated with unease as Christopher stormed down the corridor, his face a mask of rage. Every step he took echoed ominously, forewarning an inevitable storm. He'd forgiven most of the sins of his brothers but this... Dammit! Nicolas tried to escape with the kids, Micheal tried other shit and he overlooked it but this... This can not be ignored. ---Inside the meeting room, Michael sat at the long mahogany table, sipping his drink nonchalantly, unaware of the chaos that was about to descend upon him. Nicholas was absent, likely off brooding in his quarters as usual. But it was Michael whom Christopher sought. The door slammed open with such force that the hinges groaned in protest. Michael’s head snapped up, his casual demeanor replaced by a flicker of confusion. Christopher’s fury was palpable, his eyes dark with betrayal as he threw a leather-bound folder onto the table. The

Kira’s POVMy whole damn body was thrumming with need. Not just a passing wave of heat...no. This was a full-body ache that pulsed beneath my skin like fire licking through my veins. My thighs clenched on instinct, and I hated it. Hated how weak it made me feel. Hated how this morning's little… incident had wrecked my entire internal system. One look. One growl. One whisper of “shoot if you can,” and now I was sitting in the middle of a boring, gray-as-hell meeting, grinding my teeth and silently begging for the clock to move faster.Damn Ashton. That smug bastard had no idea what he’d done. Or maybe he did. Maybe he knew exactly what he was doing when he stood there naked, all toned muscles and confidence, looking like sin and smirking like he’d won a damn war and goddess, his mouth working on me was bliss. And I let him get to me.I let him turn my morning into this...an uncontrollable storm of hormones and heat I couldn’t shake."Just allow him to mark you and all this shit will r

  • The Betrayed Luna Strikes Back!   Chapter 138: Morning Games

Ashton’s POVThe scent of freshly brewed coffee filled the air, rich, dark, and sinful. My eyes snapped open on instinct. Kira. It had to be her. No one else dared wake me up with my favorite roast unless they had a death wish ...or a death wish and a death glare, which she carried equally well.I blinked through the sunlight and found her already dressed for the day, standing by the window like a goddess in a fitted navy suit that clung to her curves and screamed danger with every line. Her hair was tied up in a sleek twist, not a strand out of place. Red lips. Smoky eyes. That gun strapped to her thigh? Pure art.“Hello, sleepyhead,” she purred, sauntering over to my side of the bed with a cocky grin. “Looks like I wrecked you last night.”She winked.I grunted, sitting up slowly and taking the mug she handed me. “Thanks,” I muttered, still trying to blink the images of last night’s chaos from my head. She was trouble. Soft, deadly, addictive trouble.“You look like shit,” she comme

  • The Betrayed Luna Strikes Back!   Chapter 137: Trust and Claws… Bound and Owned

Kira’s POV“And you trust him enough to tutor Trisha?” Ashton asked, voice calm, too calm, the kind of calm he used right before someone got mauled.I didn’t flinch. I knew that tone, knew him.He was pissed. But trying to be polite about it.I leaned back in the armchair, swirling the champagne in my glass lazily before taking a sip. “Yeah, I trust him. Enough, at least.”Ashton’s jaw flexed. His eyes hadn’t left me once since I’d finished explaining everything. The kidnapping. The rescue. The healing. The werewolf reveal. And finally… the part where I decided to make the walking mystery our daughter’s personal tutor.“I’ve run every kind of scan on him,” I added, keeping my tone light. “Magical, physical, blood lineage, you name it. He passed them all. Even his memories were clean. No ties to the brothers. No curses. No shady backdoor deals with witches or warlocks. Just a regular lone wolf trying to live a boring life teaching about ancient wars.”Ashton didn’t blink.I pressed on.

Kira’s POV"Well, he's telling the truth, ma’am," Jonas reported, his voice crisp as he tucked the clipboard under his arm and stepped back. “His ID checks out. Staff records confirm he’s been here for years. No known criminal affiliations. And… Yes, he’s a werewolf, but he’s registered under the neutral pack treaty. Low threat level.”I exhaled through my nose, glaring at the man slumped on the infirmary bed like he personally offended me by existing. My jaw ticked as I crossed my arms, hating the way he just laid there...alive, breathing, and smugly intact despite nearly bleeding out an hour ago.Alex glanced over at me with a faint grimace, one side of his mouth twitching in what might’ve been a sarcastic smile if he wasn’t half-dead. “You always treat your heroes like this, or am I just the lucky one?”I narrowed my eyes. “You’re not a hero. You’re a man I badly want to kill.”Jonas looked like he wanted to evaporate from the tension in the room, but I waved him off. He gave me a

Kira’s POVI checked my wristwatch for what had to be the fiftieth time in the last ten minutes.Any second now.Trisha would come bursting through those classroom doors, ponytail bouncing, cheeks flushed, her little feet thumping excitedly against the polished floors. She’d scream “Mommy!” like we hadn’t seen each other in years, threw herself into my arms, and talked a mile a minute about every crayon, cupcake, and classmate she encountered.I missed her.A lot."You're just being silly," Morana grumbled in my head. "It’s barely been four hours since she left. Stop being stupid."I smirked. “You miss her too.”"I do not."“You cried last night when she hugged us goodnight.”"I sneezed. Shut up."I chuckled softly, arms crossed as I leaned against the school’s outer wall, blending in with the other parents.Well, not entirely. Most of them wore business suits or yoga pants. I wore a black leather jacket over a pastel-pink sundress (thanks, Trisha), and combat boots. One mom looked at

Kira’s POV“Where are those bloody rascals?” I snarled, my voice sharp and cold as I shoved open the reinforced door to Ashton’s office. It slammed against the wall with a satisfying bang.Ashton didn’t even flinch. He was leaning against his desk, arms crossed, like he’d been expecting this exact explosion.Probably had.“Three attacks,” I hissed. “Three. On her first day. If you think I’m going to sit here and let this slide, Ashton.. ”“You’re going to kill them, aren’t you?” he asked, calm as ever.I grinned. “Why the fuck wouldn’t I?”Because really, what kind of idiot tries to attack my daughter, inside a warded, high-security school, within hours of her arrival? The kind who doesn’t value their life. That’s who.“They were intercepted before they got close,” Ashton said, pushing off the desk. “She doesn’t know anything happened. The guards did their job.”“I don’t care,” I snapped. “She shouldn’t have been a target to begin with.”His gaze met mine, serious now. “You knew this

(Few Weeks Later)Kira’s POV“School?” I repeated, blinking as I stared at Ashton across the kitchen table. He nodded casually, sliding my favorite coffee mug toward me like he wasn’t currently suggesting one of the biggest, scariest decisions of my life.“Yes,” he said. “I’ve done all the necessary arrangements. All that’s left now is your approval, and she’ll be in school by next week.”I curled my fingers around the warm mug but didn’t lift it.Instead, I just stared at the swirling steam like it held the answers."I don’t know, Ashton," I muttered, my voice low. "Trisha going to school with all these dangers hovering around… I’m scared. I was thinking of home-schooling her."He leaned forward, his voice soft but firm. “I know you’re scared. I am too. But she needs more than just protection. She needs normal.”I scoffed. “There’s nothing normal about our lives.”“She’s not just your daughter, Kira. She’s a child. She deserves to experience childhood.”I flinched.Damn him.He alway

  • The Betrayed Luna Strikes Back!   Chapter 132: Letting Him In.

Kira's POV"You need to stop already, do you want to kill yourself?!" Ashton’s voice rang out, laced with a mix of concern and frustration as he jogged to match my pace, he was shirtless and sweaty but still managed to look annoyingly cute.I didn’t break stride. My legs were burning, my lungs on fire, but it didn’t matter. The rhythm of my feet hitting the ground, the pounding of my heart, the rush of wind in my face, it helped drown out the thoughts. After I put Trisha to sleep, I couldn’t shut my brain off. It kept replaying the damn attack over and over, the way I’d felt when those wolves came charging at us, and how close I’d been to losing her. The thought of her in danger... It made me sick to my stomach.I had to run. I had to burn it out of me.But no matter how much I ran, no matter how much I pushed myself, the thoughts never stopped."Stop being a stubborn idiot and listen to me!" Ashton continued, his footsteps falling in sync with mine as we circled the field. "You're no

Kira’s POV“Hurry it up, girl! You’re delaying us!” Ashton’s voice boomed from outside my door, full of playful irritation and absolutely no sense of personal space.I stood in front of the mirror, scowling at my reflection like it had personally offended me.Because, honestly? It had.The dress I was wearing was pastel pink.Pastel. Pink.It had tiny floral embroidery, soft frills around the hem, and a stupid little ribbon around the waist.I looked like I was about to star in a cupcake commercial.“You look beautiful,” Morana cooed in my head, annoyingly smug. “And less dangerous. Be happy Ash got you a similar gown with Trisha.”I bit the inside of my cheek, hard.“Less dangerous?” I muttered under my breath. “I look like a demoted fairy godmother.”Morana laughed like this was the best thing that had happened all century. “Admit it. You don’t hate it.”“I hate it.”“You don’t.”“I do.”“You don’t.”I growled low and grabbed a leather belt, cinching it at my waist just to feel some
