For fourteen years he had tried to stay on the man's good side, he did everything he ever asked. After that day, he never said no to Uncle Charlie's demands, whenever he came calling he was there to answer him. A month passed and no one noticed what went on between him and uncle Charlie, it was his shame, his sin, his secret which always leaves him feeling dirty and disgusted with himself. No amount of scrubbing would get him cleaned ever again.

His innocence was forcefully taken from him.

Uncle Charlie had just thrown him out of his studies that fateful day and as he crawled his way down the passageway, he met Mara, she was headed to serve her father his dinner but she stopped, put down the tray of food, and rather carried him into her arms and took him to his room where she proceeded to clean him up and whisper kind words to his ears, she promised to help get him out of that house.

If only she knew what she was getting herself into.
