Just reminiscing

DON'S POV

Personally, I recalled the day we arrived, greeted by the happy villagers who had all welcomed us with open arms, and they were also believing that Accalia was expecting a child. The news had spread like wildfire and soon enough, Accalia and I found ourselves at the center of attention, receiving well-wishes and advice from every corner of the village.

One particularly hilarious memory stood out: the village talent show. Accalia and I were talked into participating, despite our feeble protests. I remembered how I had attempted to juggle three oranges while reciting a poem about love and vegetables. Needless to say, it ended in disaster, with oranges rolling everywhere and the audience erupting into fits of laughter.

Then there was the cooking competition, where Accalia was convinced by Maria to enter her infamous "experimental stew that I had told her about." I had begged her not to subject the villagers to it, but she had been determined to prove me wrong. The looks on the
