But she didn't.

The days crawled by but she didn't come to to him, didn't offer him any explanation for her sudden change.

There were no excuses, he got nothing.

If anything, she was making a perfection of the art of avoiding him and it was frustrating as fuck.

And so was giving her space and waiting for her to come to him at her own pace.

This is the reason he didn't do commitment in the first place.

Every time their eyes met, he could practically taste the palpable guilt swimming in them.

But then she'd look away and block him out- again.

Recently he's been hell to work with.

He growled at everyone and got hellishly angry at everything and everyone.

She was in his head and she was fucking it up.

He'd come so close to firing a staff just yesterday over a trival issue.

He was that close to the end of his patience rope.

And he might have been able to compartmentalise the frustrated anger coursing through him if he was just dealing with Jojol and her sudden need to avoid him alone but
