What a shame!
I stilled and felt like my hands were sweating when our gaze met. "Damn, I knew it! She's not pleased to see his son with me. I’m just a nobody," a lot of thoughts bothered me inside.
She grinned “Kelsie, you’re so pretty! My son does a taste in choosing his girl," she sounded lively. Frankly, I was astounded by her reaction. I was stunned when she pulled me for a hug.
“Mom, stop squeezing her,” Brent hissed and his mom shrugged it off.
I heard him clucked his tongue “I haven't introduced her yet and you couldn't stop yourself away from her,” and complained. A smirk was printed on his face as he shook his head.
When his mom pulled out from the hug “Kelsie, I'm sorry for being rude. I'm Natalia Veronica," she smiled and I reciprocated with the same level of enthusiasm.

Brent introduced his friends to me one by one before we settled on our seats. The first one who approached us was Hunter Ross. Yes, his broad shoulders are assets but he's less compared to Brent. It was nearly ten in the morning when we reached Sa’Mare – the name of the resort and Brent told me that it means- paradise in the sea. The resort is open exclusively for members only. Most of them are elites who can afford to have a vacation in a luxury place. I felt elevated when I saw the pristine water and felt the breeze of the sea. Brent mentioned that there are lots of amenities around to enjoy. Brent insisted that we stay in his villa while his parents chose to stay in the hotel suite. Most of their modern type villa is made of glass and it looked splendid. The architect has a great talent because of his creations and fantastic designs. The moment I reached my table, I felt like my knees crippled. I should not believe it. I know Brent loves me. He will not do something that would upset or hurt me. I wiped my tears and took a deep breath. With a trembling hand, I opened my phone and checked for the business news and gossip online. It was true that their pictures made a hot topic.
