“I’ll drive. You handle the camera,” Joe White barked, his voice laced with urgency.

Allie Brooks nodded, clutching the telephoto lens tightly as Joe started the car, skillfully trailing the RV through the crowded streets. Allie’s heart pounded wildly in her chest. She wasn’t sure if it was the adrenaline or the unsettling thoughts swirling in her mind.

The RV finally came to a stop at the prestigious WORLD International Hotel. Joe, ever resourceful, didn’t miss a beat, driving straight into the open-air parking lot.

“We’ve got a room,” Joe announced after a quick phone call. “Third floor, right across from 3001—the presidential suite. The terrace there is barely two meters apart. Starting tomorrow, you’ll stake out on the terrace. No way they’ll keep the curtains shut for 24 hours. When they slip up, you’ll get the shot.”

Allie blinked in disbelief. “The presidential suite? Isn’t that… ridiculously expensive?”

Joe shrugged nonchalantly. “This isn’t just any story, kid. It’s worth it.

Liam leaned back in his chair, his fingers steepled under his chin as he studied Adam with a calm intensity. "What’s going on with you lately? You’ve been... off."Elizabeth let out a breathy sigh, lazily swirling the wine in her glass. "Hasn’t he alway

  • Secrets of a Hidden Marriage   Chapter 127: Disgusted by Her

Allie was up before the sun, brushing the sleep from her eyes as she got ready for set.By coincidence—or maybe fate—she ended up leaving with Liam. The morning air was fresh, tinged with dew and the faint scent of summer jasmine as they stepped outside. On the driveway, Adam was crouched beside his bicycle, brows furrowed in frustration as he examined a flat tire. A jagged nail stuck out from the rubber like a cruel joke.Even on summer break, Adam’s days were swallowed by the relentless demands of med school at A University. Research, experiments, clinical hours—breaks weren’t really breaks for students like him.Liam noticed him first and called out casually, “Adam, just ride with us. I’m dropping Allie off at A University anyway.”Adam hesitated for a fraction of a second. Then, realizing the tire was a lost cause, he exhaled sharply, slung his bag over his shoulder, and climbed into the backseat without a word.Allie took her place in the passenger seat, stealing subtle glances a

Robert Hart leaned back in his chair, fingers tapping rhythmically against the polished wood of his desk. His sharp eyes settled on the two sitting across from him. “I just spoke with David Brooks. Now that the marriage certificate has been signed, we should move forward with the wedding as soon as possible.”Liam Hart didn’t flinch. Not even a flicker of reaction. His voice remained calm, firm. “Allie and I have already discussed it. We’ll have the wedding after she graduates.”Allie, sitting beside him with her arms folded tightly across her chest, gave a nod of agreement. “I’ll be starting my senior year soon, and things are going to get hectic. I have my thesis, plus the film project. There’s just too much going on right now.”Robert studied them for a long moment, his expression unreadable. Then, slowly, he gave a curt nod. “If you’ve both thought this through, then there’s no rush.”David Brooks tossed in a few routine questions before excusing himself, leaving behind a quiet,

Liam’s eyebrows twitched slightly. That was twice today.I had kissed him—completely unprovoked. And now, I couldn’t even look him in the eye.God, what was wrong with me?My cheeks were burning, the heat spreading down my neck like a wildfire. Had I been too forward? Was I misreading him entirely? Did Liam even like me being this… bold?I chanced a glance at him. His eyes—deep, dark, unreadable—gave me nothing. Not a flicker of emotion. And yet, that silence, that stillness, said everything.Panic twisted in my chest. I laughed nervously, the sound brittle and false, and started to lower myself from his arms, desperate to create space, to escape the tension humming between us like an electric wire. But I didn’t get far.In one breathless motion, Liam moved. His hands gripped my waist—firm, possessive—and then I was no longer standing. My back hit the bookshelf with a soft thud, the wood cool and jarring against my spine.I gasped, shocked. My body reacted before my mind could catch u
