Aurora

Winona had given us some of the better huts to stay in for the night after deciding that driving back home with Lilith still after us would be too dangerous. By morning, she and a few other witches would leave with us to Jaxon’s pack. We had already called for vehicles that would escort them safely there.

So for tonight, we were staying amongst them.

And as I lay awake on the thin mattress laid across the wooden floor, sleep refused to come no matter how tightly I shut my eyes.

The huts

  • Seducing Alpha Jaxon   Ryan

AuroraWhen I walked into Jaxon’s room, I was surprised to find him already awake, his back resting against the headboard, phone pressed to his ear as he barked orders about securing the borders.Quietly, I pushed the trolley inside and grabbed the tray before walking over to him.His eyes found me instantly—then dropped to the tray in my hands.“Okay. I’ll update you tonight. Stay alert,” he muttered before cutting the call.“Poppet… you didn’t have to do all this,” he sighed, letting the phone fall beside him.I rolled my eyes before sitting in front of him, pushing the duvet aside and placing the tray on his lap. “Shut up and eat. This will help you recover.”“Did you cook carefully?” Instead of touching the food, he grabbed my hands, turning them over as his brows furrowed. “You didn’t hurt yourself, did you?”I pulled my hands from his grip and smacked the side of his head lightly. “Eat.”He stared at me in disbelief, rubbing the side of his head. “What the fuck?”“I said eat, Ja

  • Seducing Alpha Jaxon   Warmth Amidst Chaos

AuroraWe drove back to Jaxon’s pack in silence.I stayed beside him the entire ride, and no matter how much he tried to hide it beneath all that I can handle it bullshit, I saw the truth. Every slight movement made pain flash across his face. Every breath looked heavier than the last. He kept trying to suppress it somehow—anyhow—but I noticed.I always noticed. The moment we arrived, Simon informed him that everything had been arranged. Jaxon only had enough strength left to give a small nod before heading straight toward his room.I followed him quietly.I helped him beneath the sheets, adjusted the blanket over him, then leaned down and pressed a kiss to his forehead before finally letting him sleep.Only after that did I head toward the kitchen. The witches had given me some herbs that could help both Daniel and Jaxon recover faster. And knowing those two stubborn bastards, I already knew they wouldn’t willingly drink anything that tasted even remotely medicinal. So naturally, I d

  • Seducing Alpha Jaxon   We Will Survive This

AuroraI’d woken up early, carefully slipped out of the duvet and let everyone know that we would be going back to the pack late. Jaxon was sleeping peacefully and with an injury like that, he needed more sleep. Dragging him out of bed and forcing him to travel—I hated the idea.He needed rest. And apparently everyone else agreed because the cars were parked by the side of the road, the drivers waiting patiently outside.Daniel, the second he learned we’d be leaving late, went right back to sleep—his snores were so fucking loud I could hear them from outside the hut.Dad didn’t go back to sleep though—he stayed with the witches, discussing the next steps and how they could strengthen security around us.I slipped back into the hut, my eyes immediately falling on Jaxon.Asleep.Peaceful.Like none of the chaos from last night had touched him.I slowly slipped beside him under the duvet and pressed a kiss against his cheek before I simply watched him—yeah, that had always been my favori

  • Seducing Alpha Jaxon   Wounded

AuroraThe world stopped the second that piece of shit drove the dagger into Jaxon’s side.My breath caught. For one horrifying moment, everything went silent except for Jaxon’s strangled howl — low, restrained, full of pain he refused to show. But he still slammed into Baron anyway.Still went for the kill. They crashed to the ground violently, Jaxon’s claws aiming straight for his throat, murder burning in his eyes. Then Baron did something worse. That coward ripped the silver dagger free just enough to twist it deeper into Jaxon’s flesh.A savage growl tore from Jaxon’s throat. The smell hit instantly — burnt flesh, blood, silver.Baron used the moment of weakness to shove him off and scramble away into the woods like the rat he was.I didn’t even think before running to Jaxon.“Jaxon—”His name broke from my lips in panic as I dropped beside him, my hands hovering uselessly over his body, terrified to touch him and hurt him more.Pain blazed in his eyes. Then his body began shifti

  • Seducing Alpha Jaxon   The Fight

AuroraAs my eyes met Baron's, something cold poured through my veins. Not fear. Not exactly.Discomfort. The deep, cellular kind — the kind that makes your skin want to crawl off your body. Something in those eyes was wrong. Filthy. Like being looked at by something that had never learned the word no.He didn't growl. He just stared.I dropped into a crouch, claws biting into the earth, a growl ripping low from my chest — and then the explosion hit.My eyes snapped to it. Fire, spreading wide and fast. Winona losing ground. And Lilith — I caught the darkness bleeding into her eyes, the way the air around her bent — forbidden magic. Had to be. Nothing else could push Winona back like that.I changed targets. Lilith.I never made it.Baron hit me mid-stride like a wall of muscle and bone, and the world tilted — I was airborne, then not, sliding hard across the ground until my back cracked against a tree trunk. My spine. The same fucking spine.I was still pulling myself upright when he

  • Seducing Alpha Jaxon   Alone

AuroraIt all happened in a second. One moment, the fire kissed my skin. The next, a hard arm locked around my waist and ripped me backward into the hut.A gasp tore from my throat.Through my haze, I caught sight of Winona. Her eyes burned with something darker than fear as she lifted both hands—The door slammed shut between us.“Aurora—”Jaxon’s voice hit me instantly. Sharp. Panicked.“Are you okay?!”His hands moved frantically over me, searching for burns, injuries—anything. But when my eyes dropped to his hand, my stomach twisted violently.Red.Raw.The fire had caught him instead.“Fuck, Jaxon…” The words came out in a whisper as I grabbed his wrist. “You’re hurt.”The burn spread across his skin, angry and blistering.“This is bad—”“Aurora,” he cut in, barely even looking at his own injury. “Are you okay?”“I’m fine, Jaxon!” I snapped. “Stop worrying about me when your fucking hand is burned!”And still—Still relief flooded his face.A shaky breath left him as if he’d been

  • Seducing Alpha Jaxon   Who’s Gonna Save You?

AuroraI slipped into the dress. If you could even call it that. It was short, indecent, the kind of thing that stole the last scraps of your confidence and left you praying your ass didn't fall out. I didn't know how my girls wore this so easily—because this? This was scandal.Total scandal. The f

  • Seducing Alpha Jaxon   A Performance

AuroraThe workers were heartbroken when I told them the club would be closed for a while. Their faces dim as they collected their things. The club had been their second home, and closing it—indefinitely—felt like ripping the heart out of this place. It was indeed going to be closed for a long whil

  • Seducing Alpha Jaxon   Ready For The Storm

Jaxon "Wait—what?" Christopher stared at me like I'd slapped him, pure shock written across every inch of his face, "Lilith and Baron? I thought all those bastards were dead!"A slow, unhappy breath left me, "They're not. I thought they were too, but... no. They're very much alive. I was the gifte

  • Seducing Alpha Jaxon   It’s A War

AuroraFor a heartbeat—just one—everything went still. A lethal tension stretched between the two men, silent and suffocating. My chest tightened, my hands trembled. This wasn't....a good sign.No wind. No rustle. No breath. The silence before the storm— a deadly warning."Jaxon..." I whispered, ne
