He sauntered into the main hall, muttering something to himself. Staff who saw him approach them gave a nod, and a smile to complete the silent formalities.

“Where is Jessica?” Mark, who strolled to the spot he graced with his feet, was asked. “Good morning, Mark.”

“How do you feel, Mr. Stone?” Mark asked, grabbing the briefcase from his hand. “Jessica is in the room where Synthara lives.” The young man was attempting to be humorous, and the young CEO, who figured out the gesture, smiled shortly.

“Get her for me as soon as possible,” he mandated, this time headed for the elevator that guided him to his office. Alexander did not turn around to look for Mark who held his briefcase—there was a kind of trust he had for his staff.

Arriving at his office, he shut the door after he walked in, still muttering words. Moments later, Mark was in the office, panting. “Here, sir.” He simply said, dropping the entity on the boss's desk.

“Jessica will join you shortly.”
