Since Adonis came to visit me the other day, I hadn’t seen Chaz nor David. Part of me wondered if they were avoiding me. I felt like the girl who’d been stood up on Prom night. I started looking around for them, but then as I stopped at reception, thought that I had exactly three hours before I had to help out with dinner. I realized I needed to stop beating around the bush and find out if mom knew something.

“Hey, mom. You seen the guys around?”

She paused and smiled at me. “You mean your three boyfriends?”

I blushed, thinking I’d never officially given them a name, but this is what they were to me, my boyfriends and it’d been two days, not that I was counting, since I’d had any private time with Chaz and David. Since Adonis talked to me about wanting us to be together, after then he’d disappeared too.
