As soon as their eyes met, a shiver ran down Aria’s spine, her skin forming goosebumps after seeing the danger in front of her.
Vincent’s gaze held such intensity, such power, that Aria’s feet got stuck on the spot. Fear was alive, running through her vessels as her legs didn’t dare to move.
There was also someone in the room standing with Vincent. As the person noticed her, he turned to leave. He was muscular with a well-built body and sharp features, making him look effortlessly attractive. As he passed by Aria, his eyes lingered on her with something strange that only made her feel more uneasy in that room.
As the person moved out, the door closed.
Aria’s gaze moved and caught Vincent, who was continuously looking at her without blinking, with those intense, piercing grey eyes that made her feel fear to her core.
Her every sense screamed at her to turn and run out of here, but she forced herself to stand still.
She clenched her sweaty hands, her heart pounding in her chest like it would tear her flesh and come out. She forced her legs to move in his direction one step at a time.
He was standing at the window, his tall and dangerous frame lit by sunlight filtering through the glass and casting shadows across the floor.
She stood at a safe distance between them as she forced her lips to form the words, her voice low, cutting through the silence in the room.
“I… I wa-nt to go to the hospital… to me-et my mom.”
A thick silence followed her statement. Vincent didn’t flutter anything, just kept looking at her with his grey eyes that were stripping her layer by layer, making it hard for her even to breathe.
Her sweaty hand moved, gripping her shirt tightly as she waited for his response.
After a long pause, his legs moved slowly. Each step towards her made her pulse race faster, her breath growing quicker. As he came so close, she stumbled a step back. One look from him rooted her in place.
Vincent closed the distance between them, standing so close their breathing mingled.
Vincent’s hand moved before she could react. He gripped her chin firmly and tilted it upward toward his.
Her breath hitched as she met his piercing grey eyes, burning with an intensity she couldn't understand. She gulped, looking into those dangerous eyes. His face moved and she tried to get free, but he tightened his grip.
His lips crashed into hers hard, claiming her lips in a way that stole the breath from her lungs. Aria’s eyes widened in shock, then closed as his teeth sank into the skin of her lip, breaking a painful whisper from her mouth.
His other hand moved, exploring its way to her waist as it slipped inside the oversized shirt. Her breath caught in her throat as his rough palm found its way to her breast, squeezing it hard as a shocked whisper left her mouth.
Vincent didn't stop. His lips moved, finding their way deeper into her mouth, his tongue sweeping clean and demanding her submission.
His teeth tugged at her bottom lip, making her whisper. Taking advantage of it, he deepened the kiss, tasting, devouring her with a hunger that made her knees go weak. Her mind spun as the world around her blurred there was only his hot mouth against hers, moving with fire.
Her hand moved to his chest. She pushed him, trying to break the kiss, but the kiss only deepened.
The kiss was brutal, raw, and consuming like he wanted to eat her alive. Aria gasped, her breath short. She needed to breathe. He wasn’t leaving her, but when it was getting too hard, he finally broke the kiss. Aria gasped for air, her lips trembling along with her body.
He gripped the back of her head, pulling her toward him harshly. His warm and ragged breath touched her skin, his voice dropping dangerously low against it.
“Next time, only wear my clothes when you want me to bend you over the table and fuck you hard, until you only remember my dick inside you.”
A shiver went straight down her spine at his shameless words, her heart rate spiking wildly.
He watched her simply his gaze running all over her body, memorizing every inch of it. The silence between them was thick with tension.
Aria stood there in a storm of her emotions, her mind screaming for escape, but her body stranded there, frozen. His piercing grey eyes rooted her to the spot.
Aria gulped her fear, collecting all her courage and forcing herself to ask him because she had come here for her mother, she needed to go.
She stammered out the words, her voice barely audible because fear was gripping her throat tight.
“P-Please… let me go. I have to see my mom. Please.”
The words left her lips like broken glass. It was hard for her to cope with everything going on.
A long tear rolled down her cheek, resembling all the hopelessness she felt at that moment.
Vincent’s expression didn’t change. His face was blank, almost calculating, as he watched her unmoving. But there was something in his eyes, something dark, unreadable that sent unease through her body.
For a moment, she thought he wouldn’t let her go, wouldn’t give her permission to meet her mother.
After what felt like eternity for Aria, his grip finally loosened. He stepped back, creating distance between them. His voice came dangerously calm:
“Go.”
It was a simple word, but there was something in it, something dark Aria couldn’t understand.
Author's POV She was immediately greeted by Aurora, who stood there with an unmistakable grin.“Sister-in-law,” Aurora said teasingly, “I know you both are extra romantic, but everyone is waiting for you.”Aria flushed instantly. “You say that as if you and your husband aren’t the same,” she shot back. She reached up, gently fixing Aria’s slightly disheveled hair, her expression soft and affectionate.Vincent stepped out of the closet as well, composed once more. The three of them walked out together, leaving toward the gathering waiting downstairs. The ceremony went on amidst soft laughter and shared smiles, happiness spreading easily through the gathering. Aurora bent down gently and whispered the baby’s name into her tiny ear, “Eira”. Moments later, the name was announced aloud, and quiet applause followed as the ceremony slowly began to draw to a close.Eira rested in Vrishabh’s arms when she suddenly started to cry. He instinctively murmured softly as he tried to calm her, his
Author's POV“You’re late,” she complained softly. “We’re both ready, where were you?” she asked “Go take a bath first” Aria ordered him in a little strict tone, making him frown at her words in an impressive wayShe pushes him trying to get free from his grip pretending to be annoyed.A smirk curved his lips.“Then let’s go take a shower together.Shy blush instantly spread across her cheeks. She still got shy and he loved that about her how her cheeks would warm up, when he teases her.She turned to face him fully. Her hands slipped around his neck, pulling him down toward her. Her lips moved closer to his, close enough to steal his breath. He gulped, unable to look away as her eyes slowly lifted to meet his.Her eyes lifted to his grey and she whispered, “If you-” She stopped.“Yes,” he murmured impatiently. She looked up at him once more, a small smile playing on her lips, before leaning closer her words brushing against his ear, sending a quiet shiver straight through to his cock
Vincent POVThe whispers, they crawled into my ears, low and desperate, only loud enough to be remembered. Somehow, they made me feel something close to pride. Not happiness. Never that. But a cold, brutal satisfaction. She deserved the same pain, the same fear, the same helplessness she had forced me to live through.“Please… don’t do anything to my child.”Nisha’s voice broke as she cried, desperation tearing through every word. She begged.I didn’t stop.I just watched her.If anyone ever says I’m a psychopath, I won’t deny it. Because when it comes to her I am exactly that. A monster. One I don’t even try to control anymore.I don’t lose myself in rage.I chose it.The child’s cries tore through the room pleading, broken, terrified. Every sound felt like it was clawing at her, shattering her piece by piece.I watched it happen. I watched her break.Slowly, I rose from the chair. My gaze lingered on her one last time not with, Then I turned away.“You don’t need to do anything,” I
Aria's POVHe didn’t answer. He just looked at me silent, unreadable, his gaze heavy enough to pin me in place.I struggled, trying to pull away from him. I didn’t want to be here, not like this. I wanted distance, anything that would stop my heart from hurting this way. I twisted, my body tense with the need to escape, but his grip tightened instead, firm making my blood boil.“Leave me,” I snapped, my voice sharp with anger and pain.He didn’t.Before I could understand what was happening, he pulled me toward him. His lips crashed against mine suddenly, desperate, fierce and my heart stuttered in my chest. The kiss stole the breath from my lungs, catching me completely off guard.I fought it at first. I really did. I pushed against his chest, tried to keep my guard up, tried to remind myself why I was angry, why I was hurt. But he didn’t let go. He held me there, steady. And slowly, against my will, my resistance cracked. The heat of the kiss seeped into me, melting the anger, so
Aria's POVThe baby’s cries slowly eased as I fed her, the tension in my chest loosening with every quiet breath she took. I could feel his presence beside us silent, watchful.“She’s… hungry,” he said quietly, almost stupidly, as if stating the obvious.I smiled. In my arms, she relaxed completely, her tiny body growing with comfort. Her little eyes fluttered for a moment before closing, peaceful and safe.I looked up at him as he carefully took the baby from my arms. His movements were slow too slow…like he was afraid even his breath might wake her. He walked a few steps, every one of them cautious, before gently placing her into the crib.He stood there for a moment, not moving. She stirred, her tiny hand lifting slightly, but her eyes didn’t open. After a second, she settled again, drifting back into sleep. His gaze softened in a way I had never seen before.I notice the exhaustion in his dark, heavy, sleepless eyes. He had been awake almost the entire night and the previous nig
Author's POV Vincent ’s hands trembled as he tried to clench his fists, forcing them to stay still. His legs moved restlessly, pacing back and forth, unable to settle. His eyes kept drifting to the door again and againFear clawed at his chest, raw, suffocating. He had never felt anxiety like this before. Never. He was a man who destroyed everything, not one who waited helplessly outside a door. For her he did.All he wanted…..and needed was for his Brown to be okay.
