Aria’s POV

It’s been a week since that embarrassing moment with the mud. Nothing has changed.

I forced myself to open my mouth again as he brought another bite into my mouth. My hands gripped tightly on my lap as I silently sat on his lap, chewing the food.

I am not a child. I can eat by myself. How badly I wanted to tell him but I stayed silent.

Fear and hesitation gripped me tightly in place.

Why was he doing this? This was just supposed to be a contract marriage, a temporary arrangement.
