Her sudden outburst with a question tag did not as much as make Derick turn to look in her direction again.
Richard's eyes were filled with pleas to Isabella and to Derick. He wants them both to compromise for the other.
They have both undergone one sacrifice or the other as a result of accepting each other. Why should they now allow flippant clauses come in between them?
Derick nodded and tapped Richard's shoulder and smiled. He didn't say another word,but walked out and Isabella's eyes dropped tears.
