Fourteen
Marc Quinn creates works of art using an unusual choice of material-his own blood. One of his best-known pieces is a sculpture of his own head made out of his blood that has been frozen solid. He used nine pints of blood for the sculpture, which created a sensation when it was first exhibited. The life-sized blood-red head even caused some people to faint when they saw it.
Unfortunately, the work is no longer with us. The sculpture was purchased by millionaire art collector Charles Saatchi, who kept it in his home in a refrigerated case. Workmen in Saatchi's home moved the freezer case,unplugging the motor that kept the freezer going. A little later, the workers noticed that a pool of liquid had formed around the floor.
They opened the freezer lid, and saw to their horror that the fragile, irreplaceable work of art was now a puddle of blood.

A man on a motorcycle was passing an eighteen-wheeled truck carrying sheet metal when one of the sheets shifted of and fell off the side of the lorry, neatly cutting off the motorcyclist's head. His headless body continued on its route, overtaking the truck. The truck driver saw the headless biker overtaking and immediately had a heart attack, severing his truck off the road into a ravine.I don't own any of this stories. Two elderly women went shopping. As they came out of the mall they spied a dead cat in the park.Being cat lovers, they couldn't bear the thought of leaving the poor dead kitty there. They decided to take it home and give it a decent burial. They went back into the store and got some shopping bags. They wrapped the dead kitty in one bag and then put it in another bag,hoping to contain the stink.It was lunchtime so their next stop was a local restaurant. As it was a warm day,they were reluctant to leave the dead kitty closed up in the car. So they placed the bag beside their car and went in to eat.Their car was visible through the window where they were sitting. A college girl was getting ready for a party and decided she needed a tan. She spent Thursday and Friday going from salon to salon, only leaving when the management refused to let her stay any longer for safety reasons. She finally achieved the colour she wanted and went out Friday night. The next morning, her horrified housemates found her in bed, dead.An autopsy on the body revealed that SHE HAD LITERALLY COOKED HER INSIDES!I don't own any of this stories. A young couple purchased a new mattress for their bed,but when it arrived it seemed lumpy,and,on waking after a couple of nights, the wife discovered scratches on her neck and body,and felt queasy and faint.She was taken straight to the local hospital, where she made a complete recovery,though even after examination doctors were still mystified as to the cause of her injuries. The couple decided after a few days that their new mattress was just awful and returned it to the retailer. The store couldn't figure out why it was so lumpy so they took the mattress apart to look for any faults in its construction.They discovered that during the manufacture of the mattress in South America, a huge anaconda had snuck into the half-finished mattress and had been accidentally sewn into it. The snake was still alive, and the couple had been SLEEPING IN IT FOR THREE DAYS!

Tammi Wilder was a nice girl, but not too bright. One day she got asked on a date by one guy she really liked,so on the day of the date she wanted to look pretty.The day came but Tammi never showed up. Days later her date decided to pay her a visit to find out why she'd stood him up. He went to her house, but there was no answer to his ringing on the bell. He went round the back of the house and looked in the kitchen window, only to see Tammi lying on the kitchen floor. The police reconstructed Tammi lying on the kitchen floor. She would go to the kitchen, open the door of the microwave and falsely lock the door by pressing a knife up to the catch.That way she could keep the door open and dry her hair inside the oven. In 1922,Robert Townsend went to a party with some of his friends. At that party he met the prettiest girl that he had ever seen. Millie had long brown hair and eyes like emeralds. He asked her to dance and she seemed pleased to accept. Later, he walked her home. It was raining, and she borrowed his coat. They kissed. The next day, he returned to the house for his jacket. A grey-haired woman answered. He asked after Millie,and the lady wept.'I'm sorry,'she said,'my daughter died a year ago today.'Robert gasped.'But I just saw her yesterday!'The lady said,'Go to the cemetery a mile down the road,and you'll find her there.'Robert found the cemetery. He searched for the girl's grave, and found one with her name on it. Lying there was his jacket. When he picked it up,a note fell to the ground. It read: I'M SORRY, MY LOVE.'
