Chapter 28
I WOKE UP with a massive headache and I felt completely and utterly weak to the core.
Slowly, I opened my eyes and looked over at James' sleeping figure as he cradled me in his arms with low snores emitting from him.
"James," I said poking him because he is a heavy sleeper.
He stirred and opened his eyes and looked at me with confusion before it finally clicked and he remembered exactly what had happened.
"Are you okay?" he asked with a concerned expression.
"I'm okay, I just have a headache and my body feels like I've been to hell and back," I joked trying to lighten the mood.
A small smile appeared on his face before it completely got wiped off and was replaced with a concerned one. "You had me scared when you nearly fainted or fainted anyway," he breathed as he pulled me closer to him. "I'm going to tell mum and dad that you are up and have Dr. Dave come over," he said as he reluctantly let go of me and walked out of my room.

BEING STUCK IN the hospital for however long I had left was not one of my plans. But more importantly, I hated the fact that I had to be plugged to so many machines just to stay alive.The room I was given was fairly larger than most hospital rooms.
