The morning sun came through the curtains, filling the room with a soft light. Ethan moved a little and let out a low groan—his head was hurting. He sat up slowly and rubbed his forehead, trying to remember what happened last night.

"Alex..." He muttered, the memory flickering faintly.

He turned to his side, and paused.

There, on his nightstand, sat a bowl of soup and a glass of water. A small sticky note was attached to the glass. He furrowed his brow and peeled it off.

"Made you some hangover soup. Hope it helps. Also, there are some meals in the fridge, heat them up whenever you're ready. Thanks for spending time with me. Couldn't stay because I had to head to work early—Alex."

Ethan blinked at the note, a soft smile forming on his lips. Without thinking, he reached over and opened the bedside drawer, gently placing the note inside like something valuable.
