I couldn't control the tears that poured out of my eyes. My bones shivered as I thought back to the days when I was tortured by Quinn. She stabbed my body with needles and stomped on my palms with her feet. Those tortures were over.

I finally held out until Garyson came to rescue me. I knew he would come for me. Every time I couldn't hold on any longer, he appeared in front of my eyes. It was him who kept me going.

I cried silently, staring at Garyson without looking away.

He gently wiped the tears from my face and stroked my cheek tenderly. His eyes were filled with concern and guilt for me. He blamed himself for not protecting me.

My hand was wrapped in gauze. I shakily raised my hand and stroked his face.

"You don't need to blame yourself." I struggled to make a sound. My voice feels like some razor blade is cutting through my throat.
