If Garyson hadn't taken the initiative to mention Quinn, I'd almost forgotten about her. Those days imprisoned in the basement were so painful that I don't want to recall it.

"Don't think about what's already happened. I won't let any harm come to you in the future." He patted my back gently to give me some comfort.

I took a deep breath and nodded at him to show that I had calmed down.

"If you don't want to go to the dungeon, you can go to your room first." He offered.
