Chapter 7

Winter POV:

As soon as we made it downstairs, we were greeted by an older woman. I soon found out her name is Mrs. Hicks; she is the head omega and in charge of assigning people their duties. I was a little upset that Mrs. Hicks posted me to clean Alpha office and the conference room. I felt sad that me, and Emmily would not be working together; once Mrs. Hicks gave me my chores, I gathered the cleaning supplies and headed to the third floor. The first room I went to was the conference room, and I was so glad that no one was there. Without wasting time, I started cleaning; when I finished everything, I headed for the door; when I opened it, I took a step back; my eyes were in shock—seeing Alpha standing there with an evil smirk on his face. What bothered me the most was how he looked at me; he showed lust in his eyes. I found it disgusting because the same look he was giving reminds me of how Alpha Monte used to look at me. I could not help but feel sick to my stomach.
