Chapter 15

DAVID

I entered the house, one of the maids took my bag from my PA. I looked around and I didn't see my mother. She usually wait for me in the living room.

"My mother isn't back yet?" I asked the maid. "No sir" she answered and I furrowed my brows.

What time is it? I looked at my wrist watch, it was almost 9:00pm. I wonder why she is still out.

"Get me a glass of water please" I said to the maid who quickly bowed and left.

"Um, sir I'll be on my way now" my PA, Max said to me. I hummed as I sat on the sofa.

"Max, you still don't want to move in with us."

"Am still thinking about it sir" he said

I chuckled. "Thinking? For how long?" He didn't respond. The maid came in and give me the glass. "Thank you" I said to her, she bowed and left.

"Is it because of my mother?" I asked after gulping the water.

"Certainly not sir" he said formally. He is always been like that. He has worked for me for quite a long time now and I have never seen anyone as loyal as he is. He even became my best frien
