“Good morning angel,” Charlotte greeted her husband that morning with a kiss on the forehead.

Xavier opened his eyes slowly and smiled once he noticed her. She was holding a tray of sweet smelling food in her hands and was preparing the table beside them to place it there.

“Shouldn’t that be my line?” He asked jokingly, rubbing his eyes and sitting up.

“It’ll be your line next time you wake me up with food,” she answered. Charlotte left the food on the bedside table and lay down on his chest, looking up at him. “Has anyone told you how handsome you look when you sleep?”
