I assumed when he meant dinner, he probably thought about ordering burgers and a small side of fries to the coffee shop for the both of us before I went back home but I was wrong.

He pulled in his car from the nearby garage, asking me to get in.

" Um, where are we going?" I had asked, getting into the car regardless.

I noticed how sleek this car was. From the crisp interior to the model. This was the kind of car that spoke of money and wealth.

" I promised you dinner did I not?" He reminded.

" Well I.. yes, you did."

The car was not coated in an awkward silence that would have the both of us shuffling for words to say, but I still wanted to talk. To get to know him.

" So this looks like a pretty expensive car for a barista"
