Chapter 4

Audrey’s POV

“I’m sorry for shouting at you” He said

I turned to look at him. It seemed pretty hard for him to say. But still, I’m surprised he did. Daddy never apologizes to me. He never does. I stared at him as he looked out of the window. He looks really young. How old could he be? What powers could he have that would make my father tremble the way he did today? I had so many questions to ask but I did not dare speak them out. Not because I was scared of him, but because, I didn’t want to provoke him. For some reasons that I didn’t know I was not scared of this man. At least not the way i feared my father.

I sighed and looked away from him. I’ve been staring for too long.

I felt a pain in my stomach and I was reminded that I needed to eat. But isn’t he hungry?

Well, I shrugged and concentrated on eating. The hunger pangs were becoming unbearable.

** At the Mansion**

I heard the car horn and I jerked.

“Are you okay?” Tyler asked and I nodded

I rubbed my sleepy eyes and looked around. I had slept off immediately I finished eating. I looked around and the sun was almost about going down. The day was still a bit bright for me to see that we were driving into a fricking mansion!

Damn! It’s so big!

“Come on” I heard Tyler call me

I opened the door on my side and got down. Geeeezzzzz

This is a fucking estate! I could get lost in the compound alone! It looked like the king’s palace.

No, no, no, no. This is way bigger, way way bigger than the king’s palace!

I looked around. There were so many cars, so many beautiful flowers and the house was painted in white.

House? Did I just say house?! Even mansion, is a small word to describe this building!

“Are you done staring?”

I turned to Tyler.

“You live here alone?” I asked him

“I never told you I lived alone.”

“I never said you told me you live alone. You just don’t look like you could live with anyone” I said and shrugged

I heard someone laugh and I turned to look at where the laughter was coming from. There, I saw a beautiful girl that looked just like Tyler. She was just too beautiful.

She had the same eyes as his. Beautiful green eyes, but they had different colors of hair. Hers was brown while his hair was Black.

“O.M.G. You are so beautiful.” I said and walked towards her

“Can I touch your hair?” I asked, my eyes almost popping out of it’s socket.

“Of course” She smiled

I stretched my hands and felt her hair, And it was so soft. Damn!

“I love your hair” I told her as I pulled away

She smiled and bowed stylishly “Thank you” She said and we both laughed

“Audrey, this is my twin sister, Bella.” Tyler said

“She’s your twin? I thought twins are supposed to look exactly alike, why is she more beautiful than you” I asked looking from Tyler to Bella.

Tyler groaned “Thank you for the compliment.” He said. Bella and I chuckled

“Bella, this is Audrey, whose father owes me money and decided to run away this morning.” Tyler said

“And he’s taking me as payback” I added

Bella chuckled “It’s nice meeting you Audrey. And, for the record, you look really beautiful. You just need a few touches and Tyler will fall at your feet” She said and I blushed

“Never happening!” I heard Tyler say as he walked into the house leaving Bella and I behind.

We laughed and followed behind him. We walked into the living room and room and again, I was lost. This mansion is a beauty on it’s own.

“Good evening father” I heard Tyler greet.

I stopped looking around and turned to look in Tyler’s direction. There was an old man sitting down there. Well, he looked old.

“Tyler. You’re late.” He said calmly

“Jonny was going to run away with my money and I had to do something” He said

“What did you do? Kill him?” The man asked

“No.” Tyler said and pointed to me

The old man looked and me and turned to Tyler “You kidnapped her? Who is she?”

“She’s his daughter and, I did not kidnap her, she decided to come with me. I’ll train her” He said and sat down

“Jonny has a daughter? Does his clan know about this?” The old man asked

“I don’t know, why do you ask?”

“He’s the leader of the sunlight Clan right?”

“Yes” Tyler replied

“The leader’s in that clan are forbidden from having girls.” The man said and looked at me

Forbidden from having girls? Was that why he hid me? He was ashamed of me.

“If any leader of the sunlight clan gives birth to a girl, it’s either she is killed or he steps down for the leadership position” The old man explained

Tyler turned to look and me and then looked back at his father. “She’ll definitely be needing protection from now, they’ll soon find out that he has a daughter”

“We can’t give her back. They’ll kill her” Bella butted in

“I know, we have to protect her for the main time” The old man said

“And … I’ll train her”

“Train her? To do what?” The old man, who is Tyler’s father asked

“Become a spy, and defend herself” Tyler replied

“In the TGS Clan?” His father asked

“Yes.” He replied

“She looks too young, like she’s still in school.” The man said

“So?” Tyler asked

“You let her complete school first” His father said

“She won’t mind training and studying.”

“I will not watch another person become a drop out like you Ty!” His father said, raising his voice a bit

“She’s not dropping out.” He said

“I have decided Tyler, and you will respect that decision.”

“You take her to the school tomorrow and she starts on Monday.”

“Yes Father.” He nodded.

“When is Jonny planning on paying back?” His father asked

“I doubt he plans on doing that.”

“I heard he went bankrupt.”

Bankrupt??

“Yes. That was why I left early this morning. He was already on his way to the airport when I got there” Tyler said

Daddy is bankrupt???
