32. The Bill

Stella looked up at the waitress, who approached her. The waitress reached out and handed her a small brown tray. Stella took it too.

“Yes,” Stella replied without showing any expression.

The waitress didn't move from Stella's side either. Of course, it makes Stella uncomfortable. She immediately looked up again.

“You can go now! I'll pay for it when it's done.”

Stella said softly, but without a smile. Her mood was completely destroyed by Odolf's words. She didn't know that Bastian was sitting right behind her recording whatever was happening.
