43. Reckless

'Damn! Why is Lexus still questioning my company? It has nothing to do with him at all,' complained Odolf. He had no intention of answering it. However, the looks in Lexus and Seth's eyes made him uncomfortable.

“Drechsler Mart is fine, Lexus. The finances are stable,” answered Odolf.

Hearing Odolf's answer, of course, made Stella's eyes widen. She felt cheated by her father. She said, “Didn't Dad say that the company is in need of money?!”

Odolf put down his cutlery. 'Why is this child so stupid!' Odolf cursed in his heart. ‘What should I say to Lexus?’
