Alpha Arnou watched his mate, Daciana, as she paced back and forth in front of the fireplace. She was restless, and it was making him uneasy. He knew that Daciana was only a few weeks into her pregnancy, but already she was experiencing the common symptoms - nausea, fatigue, and mood swings.

"Are you okay, my love?" Arnou asked, as he took her hand and led her to the couch.

"I'm fine," Daciana sighed, "I just feel so...blah. And hungry all the time."

Arnou chuckled, "Ah, the infamous pregnancy cravings. What would you like to eat?"

Daciana's eyes lit up, "Could you make me some spaghetti with lots of Parmesan cheese?"

"Of course, my dear," Arnou said with a smile, as he made his way to the kitchen.

As he cooked, Arnou couldn't help but think about how his life was changing. He had always been a strong and confident alpha, but now he was going to be a father. He knew that with this new responsibility, he would have to learn to balance his pack duties with his family obligations.
