Spitting the water I was drinking before asking “ What did you just say?”

Night wiped the water from his face before opening his mouth and spoke annoyed “ Shade liked a girl but she is getting married”

“well that’s really bad! How did he react?” I asked

“ he just came back and told me to not talk to father” Night replied

“and he just walked away and literally told the servants to take the presents he bought for her” Night replied

“ should we do something?” I asked.

Night thought for a while before shaking his head saying no

“why?’ I asked pissed. Shade has every right to be with a person he loves. Even Night married me well technically Enola but now me by force then why can’t shade

Night sighed before saying “ it’s dangerous for him to do so. His image in public eye isn’t very good. There were rumors about you and him and now if he does something rash like that Father would not be very nice or considerate”
