First Day At Work

Jina looked at Chan leaving and then turned to greet her new colleagues. She was extremely happy to have her own laboratory to work with. The only problem was that it was right under Chan’s nose. She understood that Chan was keeping a close tab on everything.

“Nice to meet you guys,” Jina greeted her assistants.

“Welcome ma’am,” the two replied in unison.

“Oh…please don’t call me ma’am. I am your colleague here. Let’s get along like that. I am more comfortable that way.” Jina said awkwardly on hearing them call her ma’am. Last time Anna also called her ma’am and it made her feel isolated.

“But you are our boss’s wife and our superior. We can’t ignore the rules. Moreover this is comfortable for us.” The guy in them said. He was tall and young; a handsome nerd, from the looks of it.

The other was a skinny girl with glasses. She gave an aura of a bookish and silent person. Both were fresh researchers in the same field and Mr. P had personally recruited them both from top universities.
