Chan excused Mr. P and drove the car by himself. He brought Jina to the hill famous for sightseeing. It was already evening and Chan planned to see the sunset at the hilltop. It had twelve hair pin bends and Chan was careful to not make Jina nauseous during the whole travel.

Jina was silent all along the journey. Her mind was filled with the reports of fire that occurred at her mother’s laboratory. She was abroad doing her research during this time and by the time she came back, everything was destroyed.

Live – On was her parents’ company that produced drugs. Under its research wing, her mother, Jie Hain was developing new drug from Curcumin that could treat cancer patients. From the reports that Chan had given, the experiments were in the last stage and the patients who had volunteered for the human trials were the ones who died in the fire.
