"His name is Zale Alcazar,"
Her smile completely faded by hearing Violet's answer. Violet saw a displeased look to form on her face.
"What kind of name is this?" She scrunched her nose in displeasure. Violet chuckled at her reaction.
"His name is just as ugly and scary as him,"
Violet laughed and then caressed her head.
"That's bad, Cia. Calling someone's name bad is very wrong,"
"But his name is scary just like his face,"she uttered, frowning.
"Well you're the first person who finds him scary only because most of the people find him handsome," Violet said, making her snap her azure eyes at her.
"They all must be blind or he might have used makeup at that time," she uttered, jokingly.
Violet chortled at her words and then got up from the bed.
"Okay enough with discussing about our boss. Let's go, I will help you in understanding your work,"
She got up on her feet, hearing Violet and then clutched her arm.
"That scary pig is not my boss," she had started loving making fun of that man, and she herself didn't know why. Probably, it might be because she never had someone in her life to call her as her friend and to live such precious moments with them.
She had started finding a good friend in Violet, and even in that man, Zale Alcazar.
"Well technically he is now because you're going to work for him," Violet uttered, smilingly. She gave a displeased look before sighing.
"Okay but he is still ugly and rude,"
Violet chuckled at her statement and then they both left the room together.
The entire day passed and the sun was about to set, Violet didn't let her do any work because it was just her first day here. She just helped in understanding the things around there and gave her a tour of the entire house. She became so happy by watching the entire house.
Currently she was sitting on the sofa and was talking to some other maids because Violet had gone out to buy some clothes and things for her.
"So you're 18?"
She nodded, beaming at the maid. That maid was the eldest among all the maids there and she had gotten really close to her in just half a day.
That old maid squeezed her cheek gently and spoke.
"You're so cute and beautiful, Cia,"
She smiled at her words and thanked her.
"Okay you sit here and I will go and clean Mr Alcazar's room. He is going to be here in an hour," the maid said, glancing at the wall clock.
"Can I do the cleaning please?" She asked that old maid.
"But Violet has said not to let you do any work today,"
"I haven't done anything for the entire day but I have to start working and I know cleaning very well, so can I please clean his room. It will create a first good impression on him if he gets to know I have cleaned his room the very first day here," she described her point.
That old maid laughed at her words. She didn't even try to manipulate her words before saying them. How virtuous and pure hearted.
That maid nodded.
"Okay let's go, I will guide and help you,"
She bobbed her head and immediately got up from the sofa. Too excited to clean his room and to show him that he had not done anything by hiring her as his maid.
She just wanted to live here, away from the outside world.
"Wow...you have really done an amazing job, Cia," that old maid complimented her by watching the entire room clean and completely stable and set.
She flashed her a smile while mopping the table.
"Okay, Mr Alcazar is going to be here soon. I will go and check if his evening coffee is ready or not. Okay?"
"Okay. I am coming too in a couple of minutes after getting done cleaning this last table," she answered.
That old maid nodded and then left from there.
She focused her attention back on that table and started rubbing it. After getting done with her work, she lifted her arm but felt a heavy sting in her elbow as it was still not completely healed.
She moved her elbow a little to surpass that pain and was about to leave when her eyes fell on his bed. His quilts and duvets were still a mess. How bad? He was 28 years old but still didn't know the basic manners of folding the quilts and making the bed after getting up from sleep.
Yeah....she had found out about his age today from Violet. He was 10 years older than her.
Zale entered the mansion and every staff member became alert. They all greeted him but he paid attention to none and that deep scowl on his face made everyone understand that he was in a really terrible mood. He was angry and that could result in very harmful things for anyone but luckily, he walked away from there and straight went to his room.
Today his anger was peaking at its high because once again his men failed to find any information about Celia Reyes. He was about to shoot all of his men who failed in their work of searching about her but only because of Richard, he halted who made him understand that they were doing their best but the security of Reyes's was very tight and was almost impossible to break. Only when Richard assured him that they were going to try harder next time, he left from that place before he started killing his own men.
He stepped inside his room and then opened his coat and threw it on the sofa. He loosened his collar and sleeves buttons and then sat on the bed.
Burying his face in his palm, he greeted his teeth in exasperation. When the heck was he going to find her and end her? When that game of hide and seek was going to end? He clutched his hair in frustration until he heard that slow and gentle snoring.
He took out his face from his palm and then tilted his head back to look at the owner of those snores and finally he lost his last inch of patience by watching his new maid sleeping on his bed.
"Now before blowing the candles, make a wish, Zia," Zia smiled at her mother hearing her words and nodded. She closed her eyes slowly and made her wish. After that she opened her lashes and the very first thing her gaze caught was those green orbs staring at her because its owner was standing in front of her. She gawked at him through the fire of those burning candles. "Now blow the candles…." Cia's voice made her shrug and then she blew the candles. Everyone started clapping and wishing her whereas she grinned at everyone except that one person. She did her best to avoid his entire presence as much as possible because his mere presence was making her remember what had just happened between them just a while ago and she didn't want to remember it, not even in her dreams again because that was a living nightmare for her. "Once again, happy birthday," Zale fed her the cake to which she smiled and returned the gesture. Zia fed the cake to her parents and grandpa and then extended it t
A knock on the door grabbed the ladies' attention who were present inside Zia's room. They turned their heads and saw Zale standing at the door. Cia passed him a smile before siding away because she knew he was there to see how beautiful his little princess was looking in that dress which they both had selected for their daughter's birthday party. Zale looked at his child and immediately his smile turned more wide by watching Zia. He walked towards her and Zia wrapped her arms around her dad. "This dress is so beautiful, dad. Thank you so much for this," Zia uttered, smiling. Zale took out her face and planted a gentle peck on her head. "It's looking beautiful because my Zia has worn it," Zia giggled hearing her father. "Well…you can also compliment the other ladies present inside this room too, boss," Violet said, who was also there along with Zia's best friend, Riley. Zale chuckled and complimented them and then fixed his eyes on the love of his life, his wife…his Cia…. Cia'
"Happy birthday, Zia….," She slowly unlatched her dark black lashes hearing her parents' voice. She adjusted her sleepy vision to the light of the morning and a big smile crept on her pouty rosy lips by watching those two favourite faces of her life. She got up from the bed and opened her arms wide for both of them. With a smile, Zale and Cia hugged their daughter and kissed both sides of her temple."Happy birthday, Zia. Many many returns of the day, my child…." Zale spoke, caressing her light brown hair. Her alluring light blue eyes gleamed up in happiness."Thank you so much, dad…." She again hugged her father. His smile widened as he caged her back. His daughter was his life and the ultimate source of his happiness."Did you already forget about your mamma, Dad's princess?" The father-daughter duo pulled back and chuckled by hearing Cia. Zia stepped closer to her mother and embraced her."How can I forget about this beautiful face of my mamma. It's my everything," Zia said and p
"Careful, Cia….. " Zale uttered while watching his 9 months old pregnant wife who was playing with that kid, Damien. They both were chasing behind a butterfly in the garden of his manor. She was taking her steps slowly while holding the hand of Damien. They both were giggling which made Zale chuckle too. That kid had grown really close to both of them, especially Cia in these past 9 months. Once in a week, he always came to visit Cia with his father or sometimes even with his both parents during his weekend days. The Karlson family had also developed a very close relationship with Cia and Zale because of their elder son growing fondling towards Cia, Zale and their coming baby. "Oh… . No… it flew away… " The kid, Damien whined, watching that butterfly fly away from the flower. Cia chuckled at his tiny pout."We were not supposed to catch it, Damien," she caressed the boy's head who was pouting in anger."Because if we would have caught it then it might have turned very sad because it
"Damien Karlson," the little boy replied. Both Cia and Zale smiled at him. That boy had beautiful honey tanned skin and jet black hair. His eyes had the lightest shade of green which were twinkling like stars every time he smiled through his pearly white teeth. "Beautiful name and how old are you?" Cia asked, stroking his soft cheeks. The boy beamed in Zale's arms and answered. "I am five," "You didn't get hurt somewhere, did you?" Zale asked the boy in concern because that kid fell with a slight force and it was evident in that thudding sound of his falling. "No. I am fine, sir, " the boy shrugged his head while looking at Zale. "I am a brave boy. I don't cry," Zale chuckled at that kid's answer. Indeed that little being seemed brave. He patted his head. He didn't get very well with kids but this kid appeared to be different and he liked it. "Damien…" that voice grabbed the couple's attention and they saw Mr Karlson approaching them. "What are you doing here, Damien? Your mo
Soft and gentle blow of air was grazing against her face, making her golden strands of hair bounce in happiness. A small smile was playing over her lips as her azure eyes were staring at the beautiful horizon through her window. She closed her lashes and inhaled the fresh breeze of the evening which jolted her heart in content. She was enjoying the alluring sunset when she felt those arms wrapping around her waist from behind."I love you…." That raspily husky voice whispered in her ear and pecked below her ear tenderly. Her heart tingled, hearing that voice and feeling that touch. She wrapped her arms over his and leaned against his warm chest."I love you more," Her answer brought a beam to his face. He pecked her temple and embraced her more firmly. "So how was your day at work, Mr Alcazar?" She asked him, staring at the sky which had worn an enchanting shade of orange and slightly yellow. "Well…I attended some meetings, signed some papers, scolded some of my employees and miss
