He got up on his feet and clenched his jaw by staring at her sleeping face. The place he had given her to stay wasn't enough, now she needed his room to sleep? Her audacity had finally made him lose his control. He strode towards her side and then grabbed her shoulder but before he would pull her up, he heard her hissing badly.
His hold immediately turned gentle by watching her calm face twisting in pain. He looked down at her elbow which was bandaged and he himself didn't know why he didn't want to add more to her pain.
He released her shoulder from his grip and she slightly shifted towards his direction, causing her long blonde hair to fall all over face. Her soft snores again started echoing but his eyes got completely stuck at her face which was covered with her hairs.
She slightly rubbed her face on the pillows, indicating how her own hairs were disturbing her sleep. On its own, his hand decided to get closer to her. He bent his upper body a bit and then pushed her hairs away from her face, mindful of not disturbing her sleep.
That irritating frown left from her face as soon as he removed her hairs away from her face. She gently rubbed her face against the soft pillow, just like an exhausted kitten. He had given her a perfect name.
His eyes thoroughly stared at her face, completely forgetting the things which were angering him a little while ago. Her disobedience had been long forgotten and now was that invisible cage of allurigness in which her enchanting delicacy had successfully trapped his thoughts. What was so special about this girl that he always ended up staring at her face? He had seen much more fascinating women and girls than her but they had never gained his attention the way she was doing.
He was gazing at her face when she again shifted on the bed and then slowly opened her eyes. Those beautifully gleaming sapphire balls come in contact with his dark eyes. She gently batted her lashes at him, making him astonished until he realised what he had been doing.
"Get the fuck up right now," he roared in his extremely deep voice but it wasn't enough to scare that sleepyhead. He clutched her other shoulder which was not injured and forcefully made her up and sat on the bed.
She frowned but her eyes were still closed. He shrugged her shoulders, taking her back to this world. Slowly unlatching her eyes, she glared at him.
"Why are you disturbing my sleep now? I have already done my work,” She spat at him, unaware of her surroundings, and she was about to lay down again but he clutched her arm and didn't let her sleep.
"Get up from your precious sleep before I throw you out of my house again and make you sleep on the road," he warned her in his seething tone.
She scowled and then opened her sleepy eyes a bit.
"You know nothing except for threatening, you pig,"
He chewed on his inner cheek before shaking her aggressively. Her head started spinning. Her heart started beating faster.
"What is wrong with you, you rude pig?" She yelled at him but her eyes widened when she noticed something. She was in his room. He was really standing in front of her.
He gave her a once over grin by watching her shocking reaction. She lightly slapped on her cheek to make sure it wasn't a dream and guess what? It was not.
He crossed his arms against his chest and slightly bent his head before her.
"A very good morning, your highness,"
She gulped at his words and pinched herself to make sure it was real. The way he was glaring at her, she was sure he was going to eat her alive.
She wandered her eyes around her and congratulations, she was sleeping in his room, on his bed. She was so gone now.
She hurriedly tried to get up from the bed but in her desperate attempt to leave, her palm got slammed against his cheek as his head was still lowered at her.
Within a second, she found herself pinned against the bed and him, hovering over her. She gulped when he clutched her jaw in a little harsh grip.
His darkened gaze bored deeper into her azure ones.
"You are finding this game very funny, don't you?" He breathed out against her lips and then leaned more down, almost brushing their noses.
"But be careful, kitten. This game can make you lose so many things and can even hurt you too," he warned her.
His words were far from her understanding. She looked at him, untidily.
"I hate games, so I am not playing anything here,"
Again speechless. Her reply made her speechless but a sly smirk crept on his face by watching that naive reaction engulfing all over face. For the first time in his life, an innocence had started enchanting him so much.
He released her jaw from his grip and then grabbed her both wrists. Pinning them above her head, he noticed how tender and small she was in front of him. Too soft, too warm and too fragile to break. Too virtuous and innocuous to taint.
He scanned her entire face and tried to find fear in her eyes of his closeness but there was none instead she was looking sleepy again. How brave of her?
"Don't you dare to sleep,” He warned her, by watching her trying to close her eyes.
"Why were you sleeping here in my room?" He asked. She amiably yawned before answering.
"I was cleaning your room and then your bed but then my elbow started hurting and I got tired too and I didn't even notice when I fell asleep. I am sorry,” she explained everything to him without hiding anything.
Her answer amazed him. He held her both wrists with his one palm, gently and then the other used to support his weight over her, careful enough to not crush her under him but the question was why she wasn't feeling nervous by being in a state like that with him. She was far away from getting intimidated by him.
"And didn't it scare you that what if I caught you sleeping in my bed?" He questioned looking into those celestial azure eyes.
She shook her head in her answer. Very fearless. His smirk turned devious. Gently grazing his knuckles over her soft warm cheeks, he whispered
"And why were you not scared of getting caught by me?"
She thought for a second before answering
"Because I knew it, you won't punish me even if you caught me sleeping,"
Amazing, so now she had started understanding him more than he knew about his own self. He continued to caress her cheek
"And what makes you think that I won't punish you for sleeping in my bed?" He asked. She shook her head.
"I don't know,"
Her reply made him to lean closer to her ear where he whispered those words in her ear
"And what if I just punish you right now here in this same bed in which you dared to sleep, my kitten?"
"Now before blowing the candles, make a wish, Zia," Zia smiled at her mother hearing her words and nodded. She closed her eyes slowly and made her wish. After that she opened her lashes and the very first thing her gaze caught was those green orbs staring at her because its owner was standing in front of her. She gawked at him through the fire of those burning candles. "Now blow the candles…." Cia's voice made her shrug and then she blew the candles. Everyone started clapping and wishing her whereas she grinned at everyone except that one person. She did her best to avoid his entire presence as much as possible because his mere presence was making her remember what had just happened between them just a while ago and she didn't want to remember it, not even in her dreams again because that was a living nightmare for her. "Once again, happy birthday," Zale fed her the cake to which she smiled and returned the gesture. Zia fed the cake to her parents and grandpa and then extended it t
A knock on the door grabbed the ladies' attention who were present inside Zia's room. They turned their heads and saw Zale standing at the door. Cia passed him a smile before siding away because she knew he was there to see how beautiful his little princess was looking in that dress which they both had selected for their daughter's birthday party. Zale looked at his child and immediately his smile turned more wide by watching Zia. He walked towards her and Zia wrapped her arms around her dad. "This dress is so beautiful, dad. Thank you so much for this," Zia uttered, smiling. Zale took out her face and planted a gentle peck on her head. "It's looking beautiful because my Zia has worn it," Zia giggled hearing her father. "Well…you can also compliment the other ladies present inside this room too, boss," Violet said, who was also there along with Zia's best friend, Riley. Zale chuckled and complimented them and then fixed his eyes on the love of his life, his wife…his Cia…. Cia'
"Happy birthday, Zia….," She slowly unlatched her dark black lashes hearing her parents' voice. She adjusted her sleepy vision to the light of the morning and a big smile crept on her pouty rosy lips by watching those two favourite faces of her life. She got up from the bed and opened her arms wide for both of them. With a smile, Zale and Cia hugged their daughter and kissed both sides of her temple."Happy birthday, Zia. Many many returns of the day, my child…." Zale spoke, caressing her light brown hair. Her alluring light blue eyes gleamed up in happiness."Thank you so much, dad…." She again hugged her father. His smile widened as he caged her back. His daughter was his life and the ultimate source of his happiness."Did you already forget about your mamma, Dad's princess?" The father-daughter duo pulled back and chuckled by hearing Cia. Zia stepped closer to her mother and embraced her."How can I forget about this beautiful face of my mamma. It's my everything," Zia said and p
"Careful, Cia….. " Zale uttered while watching his 9 months old pregnant wife who was playing with that kid, Damien. They both were chasing behind a butterfly in the garden of his manor. She was taking her steps slowly while holding the hand of Damien. They both were giggling which made Zale chuckle too. That kid had grown really close to both of them, especially Cia in these past 9 months. Once in a week, he always came to visit Cia with his father or sometimes even with his both parents during his weekend days. The Karlson family had also developed a very close relationship with Cia and Zale because of their elder son growing fondling towards Cia, Zale and their coming baby. "Oh… . No… it flew away… " The kid, Damien whined, watching that butterfly fly away from the flower. Cia chuckled at his tiny pout."We were not supposed to catch it, Damien," she caressed the boy's head who was pouting in anger."Because if we would have caught it then it might have turned very sad because it
"Damien Karlson," the little boy replied. Both Cia and Zale smiled at him. That boy had beautiful honey tanned skin and jet black hair. His eyes had the lightest shade of green which were twinkling like stars every time he smiled through his pearly white teeth. "Beautiful name and how old are you?" Cia asked, stroking his soft cheeks. The boy beamed in Zale's arms and answered. "I am five," "You didn't get hurt somewhere, did you?" Zale asked the boy in concern because that kid fell with a slight force and it was evident in that thudding sound of his falling. "No. I am fine, sir, " the boy shrugged his head while looking at Zale. "I am a brave boy. I don't cry," Zale chuckled at that kid's answer. Indeed that little being seemed brave. He patted his head. He didn't get very well with kids but this kid appeared to be different and he liked it. "Damien…" that voice grabbed the couple's attention and they saw Mr Karlson approaching them. "What are you doing here, Damien? Your mo
Soft and gentle blow of air was grazing against her face, making her golden strands of hair bounce in happiness. A small smile was playing over her lips as her azure eyes were staring at the beautiful horizon through her window. She closed her lashes and inhaled the fresh breeze of the evening which jolted her heart in content. She was enjoying the alluring sunset when she felt those arms wrapping around her waist from behind."I love you…." That raspily husky voice whispered in her ear and pecked below her ear tenderly. Her heart tingled, hearing that voice and feeling that touch. She wrapped her arms over his and leaned against his warm chest."I love you more," Her answer brought a beam to his face. He pecked her temple and embraced her more firmly. "So how was your day at work, Mr Alcazar?" She asked him, staring at the sky which had worn an enchanting shade of orange and slightly yellow. "Well…I attended some meetings, signed some papers, scolded some of my employees and miss
