Chapter 10
Augusta's eyes snapped open as he took a peek at his surroundings, he had dreamt about being in the arms of his wife and the dream witch had used that to subdue him. He lifted his body from the floor and listened to the cackle that echoed in the dark forest where even the moonlight could never penetrate. It felt as though there was no life in the forest but there was indeed a lot. Augusta looked around for any of his men but he didn't find them.
"Come out right now." He yelled at the cackle that seemed to get closer to him and suddenly stopped as his ear listened attentively for any sound.
