CHAPTER NINE.

Aurora's POV.

"Do you think we are okay, Aurora? Why are they here?" Mia asks worriedly.

"I have no idea, Mia. Let's just wait and hear what they have to say.” I swallow dryly as I keep looking ahead with an uncomfortable look plastered on my face.

“Is something wrong, Aurora?” Arthur asks as he gives me a gentle tap on my shoulder. “You look scared.” I quickly shrug off his hand and focus ahead.

"I'm fine, Arthur, nothing to worry about.” I say within my teeth, hoping he hears.

"Miss Aurora Fay Mason, you have a punishment regarding your previous offense yesterday. You'll have to do community service on the school field.”

A gasp escapes my lips as I stare at the school authorities, standing in front of the class.

How can they do this to me?

Wasn't the punishment of yesterday enough for them?

What did they want from me this time?

After locking me up in that God forsaken dungeon, naked and with no food. Now, they want me to work.

Why even call it community servi

I agree. Never be quiet because it doesn’t help. She should have told her mom & friend at the very least.
